Port of Egersund is the best natural harbour in
Norway, and as an ice-free port, it is open for
business 24/7, every day of the year.

• Length of quays: > 4500 metres

• Three RO-RO-quays.

ISPS
Port of Egersund has several ISPS-facilities. All of
them are marked as dotted squares on the map
at page 3. ISPS-areas of the port authorities are
shown in red line, private ISPS-areas are shown in
black line.
The access to ISPS-zones are limited, and entry
must be declared in advance. Please contact
the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) - tel:
+47 51 46 11 90.

Waste
Delivery of waste can be arranged by port
authorities. Please download request form
www.egersund.havn.no and email this to
post@egersund.havn.no. It’s also possible to fax
the form to +47 51 46 32 81.

Welcome

Egersund is one of Norway’s leading

fishing harbours and it also has a
variety of international companies
spanning from offshore yards to
cutting-edge business clusters in
marine electronics.

Some Facts
Port of Egersund is close to the major North Sea
fishing grounds and just south of Stavanger, the “oil
capital” of Norway. The harbour is ISPS-approved
and its strategic location by the Northern Maritime
Corridor enables vessels sailing from Egersund to
reach continental harbours in 24 hours.

Port of Egersund is situated on the south-western

coast of Norway in the county of Rogaland,
and port authorities have land available for new
companies.
The harbour’s proximity to European ports, and
of course the international airport of Stavanger,
makes it a natural and effective first port of call
for entry into Norway, and the last for departure
from Norway.
