Key features of the Biomass project are as follows:-

Land Required 5,000 Sq. ft. Per MW

Cost is INR 4 Crores for 1 MW Land cost not included in this
Raw material required per hour approx 1000 – 1200 Kg
Per hour generation in 1MW plant approx 800 – 1000 Units
Cost of Bio Mass Electricity produced is INR 2/- per unit including all.
Buy back tariff form Govt INR 4 – INR 5.5, varies based on the location/state.
Project commissioning time 3/4 month.
Payback period 30 months
Installation charges 15% of the total project cost and that has been included in the above
cost
Equipment cost approximately INR 3.5 Lakh.
3Years Warranty
Maintenance cost 1.5% of the project cost till five year

Project Financing through WPP ( USA) and world bank through min. 10 MW project
only Starting process - MOU/DPR/Commercial /Technical/Site survey and details
project reports and CDM reports. The cost is 3% of project cost on the time on MOU.
