Counter Strike:

Counter-Strike is the tactical and team-play reference in the world of First Person Shooter
(FPS) games. Engage in a realistic brand of counter-terrorist warfare in this popular team-
based game. Take out enemy sites. Defuse bombs. Your role affects your team's success.

General Instructions:

Counter Strike Championship rules:

General terms:

 The Half-Life Counter Strike PC game championship 5x5 (team play, 5 members per
team).

 Game version - Counter-Strike 1.6

 The Tournament Organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament
rules if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control,
impairs the integrity of the tournament.

Registration:

 Each team must submit a full list of its members prior to the tournament on the email address
mentioned in the poster and contact details.

 The teams may include 5 players

 One player is allowed to play only in 1 team.

 During the match, all team players should use nicknames and clan tag stated during the
registration procedure. Else the team may be penalised

 The players not included into the team list will not be allowed to play under any
circumstances

 Usage of clan tag which has been already registered in tournament isn't allowed.

Tournament procedure:

 Each team should choose its captain, who will be responsible for team
discipline and members coming to the matches in proper time. Only captain is eligible
for receiving information from the Administrators and for lodging complaints.

 Participant team should bring their own Laptops, Mouse, Chargers and
Headphone (IF You need). The participants should take care of adapters and drivers
for personal accessories.

Tournament game rules:

• A game consists of 2 sets, each set including 15 rounds. A round lasts 2.00
minutes. One set as terrorists, the other as counter-terrorists for each team. The
maximum number of rounds is 30. (Starting Money = 800)

• In the case of a tie, two 3-round halves will be played for an overtime (starting
money=16000).

 Maps for first phase matches:

 Maps for all matches except first phase:


1. De_dust2
2. De_Nuke
3. De_inferno

• A coin toss is used. The captain who wins the toss can decide either the role
(Terrorist or Counter Terrorist) or the map. The other side can decide from the
thing which is left out.

• If a team is not present in the tournament area at the start of a designated


warm-up time, the other team chooses map (1 of 3 random maps) and side.

• Team members may not communicate (speak) when he or she is "dead" in the
game. The only exception is when all team members are eliminated in the
game.

• Only the team captains are allowed to send public messages (messagemode1)
during the game. The rest of the players are not allowed to use
messagemode1; failure to meet this rule would lead to team penalties. The
players can send only team messages (messagemode2) during the match.

Permitted console variables and other settings:

• Use of D3/AU-1 is forbidden

 Tactical shield use is forbidden.

• Weapon bind and team messages are allowed.

• FRIENDLY FIRE WILL BE TURNED ON

• Use of only standard models/skins is allowed.

In cases of disconnections and pc crashes:

 Disconnection is any network connection break occurring during the match and caused
by system faults, network problems, PC errors or power failure etc. In case of
disconnection in any of the first 3 rounds of a set, the entire set is restarted.

 In case of disconnection in any other round, game score is recorded and set is restarted
and starting money would be 10000.

 In case of an intentional disconnection, the offending team might be announced


the loser.
