Resolution

Preamble

The Generall Assembly

Concerned about the seriousness of problems and threats posed by corruption


to the stability and security of societies, undermining the institutions and
values of democracy, ethical values and justice and jeopardizing sustainable
development and the rule of law,

Recognizing that states in some regions have already taken steps towards the
cancellation of Poverty evoked by high defence spending and corruption at the
bilateral,regional and subregional levels in the political,economical and military
fields and noting that measures have been successful,

Definition of corruption
Corruption is define as abuse or misuse for personal gain. This abuse or misuse
is defined as any improper or illegal behaviour in which persons enrich
themselves or those close to them or encourage others to do so, by misusing
their position in any way.
The term corruption refers to any forms of corrupt practise, fraud, bribery,
compulsion or coercion, collusion, blackmail or extortion or any other kind of
abuse or misuse for personal gain

Convinced that resources released by disarmament, including regional


disarmament, including regional disarmament , can be devoted to economic
and social development and to protection of the environment for the benefit of
all peoples, in particular those of developing states,

Recognizing also the need for meaningful dialogue among states concerned.

Realizing that corruption has become a widespread phenomenon in


international transcations including trade investment

Operative Clauses
1) Urges all member states and specially LEDC's to not spend over 1% of
their GDP for if problems like poverty are linked to the country..

2) Urges all members states to establish a Special Investigation Department


in order to expose corruption

3) Request for financial and material support for those countries who
cannot afford those vital goods and health services by ....

4) Requests to establish a new NGO in order help people in corrupt


countries to find a better living in neighborouing countries by:
4 a) a cooperation between the NGO and the neighborouing countries
4 b) giving a credit, which the refugees will have to pay back by working
in the effected country.

5) Resolve, to do our utmost to strengthen our anti-corruption strategies


and take extra measures to promote honesty and combat corruption

6) Encourage Member Parliaments whose countries are not yet parties to


the UN Convention Against Corruption to expedite, in accordance with
their national laws and constitutional requirements, joining the
Convention as early as possible,

7) Encourage also Member Parliaments to enhance the role and the


capacity of the civil society and the mass media, in their countries, in
the fight against corruption,

8) Invite Member Parliaments to cooperate and coordinate with other


regional and international organizations dealing with anti-corruption
activities to collect shared experiences and best practices in their
efforts to fight against corruption,

9) Asks the Economic and Social Council and its subsidiary bodies,
inparticular the
Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice:(a) To examine
ways, including through legally binding international instruments, with
out in any way precluding, impeding or delayinginternational, regional
or national actions, to further the implementation of the present
resolution and the annexed Declaration, so as to promote the
criminalization of corruption and bribery in international commercial
transactions;(b) To keep the issue of corruption and bribery in
international commercial transactions under regular review;
