Students

Secondary
Cluster Mentors
• During Alumni Mentor Week, Secondary Cluster Mentors are encouraged to host
open invitations to AMP participants to discuss his or her industry. These meetings
can be held at the mentor’s office, or arrangements can be made to hold the
meetings at the AIMK Campus.
• The profile of a primary mentor is varied and represents those in mid-level positions
as well as those with significant leadership and career experience.
• One 2nd year student will be selected in each cluster to serve as a cluster
coordinator. (If there are no 2nd year students in a cluster, a 1st year student will be
selected.) This is a great leadership position. The cluster coordinator will serve as
the liaison between the cluster and the Mentor Program Committee. In addition,
each cluster coordinator will work with the students and mentors in their cluster to
coordinate events and activities for Alumni Mentor Weeks.
