Bought my 406 3 weeks ago and sent for some touch up,

My bills came up to :

Replace timing belt kit (oilseal,belt,2 bearings)= 680


Replace water pump (citreon) = 310
Radiator coolant = 30
Fan belt = 95
Gearbox mounting =247
Mounting bracket bush=115
D/shaft mounting =65
Top mounting = 246
Press bush = 30
thermostat housing = 95
Driveshaft boot = 240 (2pcs, 1 ori, the other OEM)
Flywheel oilseal =97
Oil sump packing seal = 24 (force to change engine oil when some leak detected around gasket area, cant it be recycled cause i just changed
them and run less than 1000km)
Engine oil (ESSO) =164 (8liter)
Labor cost = 350

I did my 406 pinion valve repalcement.

1.Power steering Pinion valve RM 780.

2.Damper pipes 2 pcs.RM 120

3.Labour RM 80.

4.Radiator cap RM 30.

All the abovce was done in GEOT Auto.PJ.

1)Skim head + labour and gasket RM520


2)original record absorber RM280/each >RM560
3)2 front suspension stopper ar RM90 each> RM180
4)Timing belt and lube service RM500
5)Valeo radiator RM700
6)Radiator cap RM50
7)Lemforder steering ball head(replace the faulty sasic part)=RM155
Total=RM2.6k thereabout

1. Timing belt set (Timing belt+2bearings)=RM370 (lemforder)


2. 3pcs "O" ring = RM80 (lemforder)
3. Labour = RM160
Total = RM610.00

All done at MZ auto, Kajang. Whaddaya think guys?

I just changed my 406 brake disc and pad (front), here is the details:

1 set Brake pad = RM 190.00


1 set Disc brake = RM 450.00
1 pc Door weather strip (Right side) = RM 110.00
Workmanship = RM 80.00

total 7 time go for maintenance n part changed... with 1 breakdown...
(see tread.. the suspected ECU prob)... mainly was wiring problem.
