The City of Troy, New York is seeking proposals to furnish professional architectural and
engineering services to provide an existing condition and feasibility study of 275-283
River Street, Troy, New York (aka Dauchy Building) for use as Troy’s City Hall,
including an assembly space for use as the City Council chamber.
The proposal shall include, but not be limited to the following areas:
• Evaluation of existing components and systems of the building, including roof
membrane, flashings and penetrations.
1. Roof structure.
2. Building envelope, including masonry and mortar, caulking, doors and
windows.
3. Vertical and horizontal structural members.
4. Electrical System – main feed, panels and distribution system.
5. Sprinkler System, Fire Alarm System and Emergency Lighting.
6. Plumbing and Sanitary System.
7. HVAC system
The proposal is to be a lump sum, not-to-exceed amount and the selected consultant or
consultant team must meet all other standard qualifications (insurance limits, etc.)
required by the city. These have been included below for your convenience.
Proposals must be received by the City Clerk no later 2 PM on February 25, 2011.
