A. The entry must be completed during the current school year.

PROCEDURE
A. Use a theme to unify the photographs included in the album.
Complete the album and a cover page collage during the current
school year. (The album must have a clear view cover for the
collage.) The participant is solely responsible for all aspects

REGULATIONS
A. Preparing the album
1. A standard three (3)-ring binder, with a clear front sleeve
for the cover page, is required for the album. The cover
page must include the event title, the conference city and
state, the year, and a collage of photographs related to the
current theme. The inside of the album must include in this
order (see the diagram that follows), the following single-
sided, 8 1/2" x 11" pages:
a. Description of the theme—a detailed description of
how the theme is documented or represented by the
photographs, including a title. Only photos related to
the chapter activity should be submitted. [one (1) single-
sided page]
b. Photographs and descriptions—One original image (non-
enhanced/unedited photograph related to the theme)
and its edited counterpart (final digital photograph, i.e.

EVENT COORDINATOR INSTRUCTIONS
PERSONNEL
A. Event coordinator
MATERIALS
A. Coordinator’s notebook, containing:
1. Event guidelines, four (4) copies
2. Official rating forms
3. List of entries with finalist report
4. List of evaluators/assistants
5. Stick-on labels for numbering entries
6. Semifinalist list for posting
7. Results envelope
B. Semifinalist materials (coordinator must create these)
1. Evaluation schedule
2. Task and guidelines
3. Interview questions
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Upon arrival at the conference, report to the CRC room and
check the contents of the coordinator’s notebook. Review the
event guidelines and check to see that enough evaluators/
assistants have been scheduled.

J. Before the on-site task session, check the room set-up. There
should be enough seating, table space, and access to electricity
for ten (10) semifinalists.
P. Add the totals from the album work and the on-site semifinalist
work to determine the overall ranking of the ten (10) finalists.

I hereby give permission for images of my child or myself (as applicable), captured during Technology
Student Association (TSA) activities through film, photo or digital camera, to be used solely for the
purposes of TSA promotional materials and publications, and I waive any rights of compensation
or ownership thereto.
