About IEM-Group
The Institute of Environment and Management (IEM) an autonomous organization registered under
the society registration act 1960, was established in the year 1991 and suitably located in heart of
Lucknow city.
The institute over a period of time has developed into consortium of six management and professional
educational institutions. The institute is driven by its vision of quality education at affordable cost
with industry specific competencies. The objective is to make the students better professionals so that
they are able to take up the challenges in the fast changing and complex global corporate
environment.
IEM is known for pioneering the management education in private sector. The institute started its
journey about 20 years back with AICTE approved diploma program in management and environment
protection. Since then institute is nurturing its vision to become one of the top business schools in

committed to meeting our social responsibilities, while setting high standards for all our stake holders
and imparting affordable quality education to every section of society. It is the outcome of vision and
a challenge which we at IEM have pursued relentlessly over the years, that today the group has

IEM group of institutions from other’s is its unique capability to mobilize large number of companies
to conduct placement interviews for our final year students.
The training cell has been created to provide exposure to every student to
develop the better understanding of management practices in industry. The
students are required to present the knowledge and experience which they
acquired during the training in the form of a written report which has to be
presented in conference hall in precise manner for open discussion by trainee. A
student deputed for training is required to submit the project report as per
guidelines designed by training cell.
The training cell also coordinates the industrial visit of students to make them
aware about the work culture and environment of an organization.
The placement cell provides the best of its facilities for conduct of the recruitment
programmes. A systematized coordination is extended by the cell to enable the students to
provide the recruitment in different organizations.
The placement processes starts with the invitation to the different organizations to participate
in various job fair which placement cell organizes every year on regular basis at different
locations I.e. Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmadabad, Bhopal, Pune, Bangalore, Dehradun,
Chandigarh and NCR region.
In every Job fair the placement cell provides facilities for the visiting companies to conduct
pre placement talk, group discussion & interviews. In each job fair the average number of

participation of companies are from 20 to 30 with more then 100 vacancies in different
sectors.
Thus placement cell organizes & coordinate placement programme to fulfil its commitment
of career to every aspirant.
Communication Lab
A Digital Language Lab is a language learning solution with a specially equipped facility
designed to train students in any language (usually one foreign to the mother tongue) using
proven language teaching techniques. The teacher delivers the methodology through an
automated system that is adaptable to teaching a novice or a neophyte as well as brush-up the
skills of a not-very-fluent speaker to not only speak it phonetically correct in a native accent
but also learn it quickly and deliver it with clarity and confidence. IEMIBM has well
equipped and fully integrated language lab with audio-visual facilities to train students on
English language as well as other foreign languages as desired by students and demanded by
industry.
Computer Cell
It has the state-of-the-art Computer Centre to ensure adequate computing and Internet facilities to
every student. The Wi-fi campus is available which makes easily access of internet to students from
any point of place in the campus sufficient number of operating systems & application software’s
related to core subject are available. All systems are well connected on LAN on each set of 10
computers one printer is well installed for the use of students. The institute has created the common
computing cell to provide student’s adequate audio visual facility which helps the students to learn by
watching & completing assignments & get benefit of interactive multimedia based learning.
HOSTEL
IEM-group provides hostel facilities to girls and boys separately. The rooms are spacious, well
ventilated and are fully furnished to provide an environment for comfortable staying and learning.
The institute has well-equipped library and hostel facilities for girls and boys Adequate security,
telephone connection and medical facility are also available for secure stay away from the home. The
hostel provides excellent mess facilities at no profit basis to the students.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria at IEM is managed by professional and posses an integrated kitchen and lounge.
Cafeteria serves students, dishes at reasonable rates including snacks and full lunch. To
facilitate students, cafeteria operates stretch hours from early morning to late evening.
The institute management gives priority for activities like debates, seminars, group discussions and
presentations for overall personality development of the students. An event at national & International
level besides trade fares, cultural fest etc. & inter management, academic & collateral contest.
MEDICAL FACILITY
The institute has a fully equipped medical centre to take care of the emergencies promptly. A medical
practitioner is also available in campus.
SPORTS FACILITY
Sports facilities like volley-ball, basket ball and indoor games are provided for physical development
of the students.
TRANSPORT FACILITIES
A fleet of buses is available with IEM to provide transport to the students from different parts of the
city. The cost towards transportation is charged from students on actual basis.

of India.

The Value addition facility of Additional degree of MBA*MCA* through distance education
from Pondicherry University (central University) is having nominal fees of 16000/24000

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Eligibility – Minimum 3 years degree course recognized by the association of Indian University or
UGC.
Selection Processes - The institute is non IIM member institution which is recognized for use of CAT
score.
The students are admitted on the basis of merit of marks based on Entrance test, Group discussion and
Personal interview. The performance of accepting the score of written test is CAT/MAT/own test.
