specified by the committee .The first round is for the national
qualifier at Pune. The final is scheduled to be held at Beijing.
• Departmental presentation on Bridge designing of Arch bridge:
This project consisted of giving presentation on a kind of bridge
suitable for a given hilly terrain. We did this by selecting arch
bridge for this purpose. It was required to show all the
calculation needed for the stable design of this bridge.

• Structural analysis of Bridge Akashi Kaikyo: It was a minor paper

presentation on the working and stability of Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
in Japan through all calculation and the major important features
of this bridge which made it a great miracle of engineering.

• Term paper on Quarks: It was a paper presentation for a

humanities course. It consisted of giving all the detailed
information about the microscopic particle the quarks, i.e their
origin, behavior and special properties.
