International Fairs and Shows Policy

Canadian Fairs and Shows
As we’ve seen in the U.S., fairs and shows are a scarce resource. It’s important that our approach to Canadian events
and shows be fair and equitable for future Canadian Consultants, and within Scentsy policies and procedures.

The Policy
Only Scentsy Consultants who have signed a Canadian Consultant Enrollment Agreement AND who are RESIDENTS
of Canada (regardless of their citizenship) are allowed to enter into agreements and/or contracts with a fair, show or
other temporary sales event in Canada. Since no one has signed Canadian Consultant Enrollment Agreements yet and
the Workstation can’t process Canadian recruits until the new Workstation launches October 1, 2009, there should
be no fairs or shows reserved, agreed to, or executed by Scentsy Consultants in Canada until October at the earliest.
U.S.-based Scentsy Consultants are not allowed, under any circumstances related to their Scentsy business, to enter
into agreements and/or contracts with a fair, show or other temporary sales event in Canada.

Operating in Canada outside Scentsy policy jeopardizes our ability to do business in Canada and may subject you to
fines and disciplinary action.

U.S.-based Consultants (Consultants who reside in the U.S., regardless of their citizenship) who have already signed
up to do shows in Canada MUST disclose this to Scentsy (please contact Scentsy at canadashows@scentsy.com) AND
release those shows BEFORE we will allow them to sign a Cross Border Distribution Agreement and/or Cross Border
Sponsorship Agreement, which allows U.S.-based Consultants to sell and/or recruit in Canada. When contacting us to
disclose Canadian show information, please provide the name and date of the show, and contact information for the
show organizer. All shows must be released by 11:59 pm (MT) on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

Releasing the Shows

1. If a U.S.-based Consultant currently has a Canadian show agreement in place that can be cancelled with a refund,
Consultants should cancel their participation in the show and collect a refund.
2. If a U.S.-based Consultant currently has a Canadian show agreement in place that is non-transferable AND
non-refundable, Consultants must release or cancel their agreements with this show and forfeit their deposit and/
or payment. Scentsy will not reimburse Consultants for these expenditures. While these monetary losses are very
unfortunate, this is the express reason why Orville and the staff repeatedly asked Consultants not to ‘jump the gun’
prior to formal Company announcements.
3. If a U.S.-based Consultant contracted with a show that is non-refundable, but IS transferable, and the dates for
the show is November 1, 2009 or later, this show can be transferred to Scentsy. Scentsy will reimburse the U.S.-
based Consultants 90% of the agreement/contract fees that have been paid by the Consultant (verified by receipt),
less any required booth/contract/agreement transfer fees. These transferred shows will then be redistributed and
sold, by random drawing, to interested, qualified Canada-based Scentsy Consultants after October 1, 2009.
4. If a U.S.-based Consultant contracted with a show to be held in the month of October, 2009, participation in the
show must be cancelled. Canadian shows in the month of October cannot be transferred to Scentsy.

Disciplinary Action for Noncompliance

If Scentsy discovers and confirms, at any future point, that U.S.-based Consultants contracted and executed shows in
Canada contrary to this policy, they will be subject to the following disciplinary action:
1. The Consultant’s Cross Border Distribution Agreement and/or Cross Border Sponsorship Agreement will be
immediately terminated;
2. Any Canadian recruits/downline she/he has accumulated (regardless of whether that recruit was tied to the show
in question or not) will permanently roll to her/his upline;
3. The Consultant will not be eligible to reapply to sell or recruit in Canada for a period of six months.

Canadian Consultants Must Register Shows with Scentsy

After October 1, 2009 all Scentsy Canadian Consultants (residents of Canada) who wish to participate in fairs, shows
or any other temporary sales event in Canada where the show registration fee is $250 Canadian dollars or more, must
register their intent to do the show with Scentsy, immediately after they have entered into an agreement or contract
with the show or event organizer. To do this, they need to contact Scentsy at canadashows@scentsy.com. In cases
where more than one Canadian Scentsy Consultant registers with Scentsy to do the same show during the same dates,
the Consultant who has the earliest dated receipt or written confirmation from the show will be allowed to do the show.

Ongoing International Fairs and Shows Policy

No Scentsy Consultant may enter into agreements and/or contracts with a fair, show or other temporary sales events
outside their country of residence. Only Scentsy Consultants who have signed a Country-specific Distribution and/or
Sponsorship Agreement AND who are RESIDENTS of that Country (regardless of their citizenship) are allowed to
enter into agreements and/or contracts with a fair, show or other temporary sales event in that Country.

Operating in a Country outside Scentsy policy jeopardizes our ability to do business in that Country and may subject
you to fines and disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Action for Noncompliance

If Scentsy discovers and confirms, at any future point, that Scentsy Consultants contracted and executed shows
contrary to policy, they will be subject to the following disciplinary action:
1. The Consultant’s Country-specific Distribution and/or Sponsorship Agreement will be immediately terminated;
2. Any recruits/downline she/he has accumulated in that Country (regardless of whether that recruit was tied to the
show in question or not) will permanently roll to her/his upline;
3. The Consultant will not be eligible to reapply for that Country’s Consultant Agreement for a period of six months.
