Tarts
- Fruit galette
A sweet pastry base with either almond cream, mixed fruit and crumble or
apples, pecan, pear and sultana. Served with either cream, crème anglaise
or ice cream. A great ‘crowd pleaser’ if served after a meal Sold either half

These can be made with a variety of filings; they all have a caramelised onion
base, unless otherwise specified. You can choose from the following fillings

Savoury Muffins
These can be made with a variety of fillings and all have polenta as a main
ingredient unless otherwise specified. You can choose from the following fillings:

Scones
Just like granny used to make! Served with a choice of jam and cream or
cheese. Standard size: R16 Mini/bite size: R10
- Magic bars
Biscuit based delight, topped with roast pecans, coconut, Belgian chocolate
and caramel. R21.00/slice, also available in half size
- Granola bars
Chewy oat slices crammed with dried fruit and nuts, combined with honey,
cinnamon and butter R21.00/slice, also available in half size
- Pecan bars
Buttery shortbread topped with chewy caramelised pecans R21.00/bar (also
available with mixed nuts)
- Brioche
Traditional French sweet bread pastry. We have various flavours: chocolate,
cranberry & apricot, plain with demerera sugar topping, plain with flaked
almonds topping, custard and banana filling Plain brioche = R17 each Filled

- Muffins
Home-made sweet or savoury muffins. Flavours depend on what is in season
but sweet muffins are either fruit only or fruit and nut combinations; savoury
usually have butternut or tomato and one or two cheeses (goats cheese,
mozzarella, cheddar or gorgonzola) R17 each
- Chocolate eclairs
Shoe pastry ‘logs’ filled with home made custard and topped with Belgian
chocolate R17 – R21 each
- Macaroons
Individual moist almond meringue biscuits made to the traditional French
method, a variety of flavours and fillings available. Madagascan vanilla
macaroon sandwiched with a Belgium chocolate ganache Light mocha
sandwiched with a coffee and caramel buttercream Toasted coconut

Delicious, creamy fudge, topped with either milk, dark or white chocolate

- Biscotti
Traditional Italian biscuit (biscotti meaning ‘twice baked’). Ginger, almond
