The members of the Board of Geology are Emmanuel V. Tamesis, Chairman; Rudy C.
Obial and Francisco A. Navarro, Members.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of
Registration will start on Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Those who will register are required to
bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current
Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white
background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and
complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with
name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration
Fee of P450 for 2007-2010. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in
the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the
previous ones who have not yet taken their professional oath WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Registration for membership with the Geological Society of the Philippines (GSP) will
take place after registration as a professional with the Board and the Commission.
The performance of schools in the August 2007 Geologist Licensure Examination in
alphabetical order as per R.A. 8991 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000
Section 7(m) To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the
results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows: (Any discrepancy in the
report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school
codes by the examinees themselves. Concerned schools may write the Commission for
correction.)

Registration will start on Monday, August 13, 2007 but not later than August 16, 2007. Those
who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or
Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport
size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture
(colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary
stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial

as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the
Board on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the Celebrity Club, Capitol Hills
Drive, Old Balara, Quezon City.
