Here, one who wishes to practice with the method of the very concise recitation and
meditation of Bhairajyaguru should recited refuge and bodhicitta three times:
From the state of emptiness on top of a moon seat, one’s mind is the
letter hm, accomplishing two purposes with light. Upon the light’s return,
oneself is the Blessed One, Medicine Guru. One’s color is blue, with one
face, and two hands. The right hand makes the gesture of supreme
generosity, holding an Arura plant; the left hand is in the gesture of
equipoise, holding a begging bowl full of nectar. He is brilliant with the
major and minor marks, and wears three Dharma robes. He sits in full
vajra posture.
On his right is the son of the victors, red Illuminating Like The Sun,
holding a lotus marked with a sun in his left hand.
On his left is the white Illuminating Like the Moon, holding a lotus
marked with a moon in his left hand. The right hand of both of them
makes the gesture of supreme generosity. They wear full silks and jewels,
standing on lotuses and moons venerated the main deity.
The three places of the main and retinue deities are marked with three
syllables. By the light radiating from those all of the victors of the ten
directions are summoned in the sky before one in the aspect of the Blessed
One, Medicine Guru.
Om vajra samajah
Jah hm vam hoh
Lights radiate from the mantra rosary surrounding the hm in one’s
heart making offerings the noble ones and purifying the obscurations of all
living beings. All the blessings of the victors and their children return
bless one’s continuum.
Recite as much as possible. If one wishes, one may recite the long
dharani also:
Tadyath ghume ghume ime ime mati mati sapta tathgata samadhy
dhirthite ati mate sle ppam sodhani sarva ppam nsaya mama buddha
buddhottame ume kume buddha kretra parisodhani dhame ni dhame meru
meru meru sikhare sarva aklamrityuni prani buddhe subuddhe
buddhdhirthna rakrantume sarva dev same asame samant harantume
sarvabuddha bodhisattvnam same same prasamantume sarva idyupa
dravavya purni purni sarva ksya vaidrya pratibhse
sarvappikrayamkari svh
In the end, the wisdom being of one’s self-generation arrives in the sky in front
oneself. Make offerings with:
Om bhairajyarja saparivra argham pratccha svh, padyam
pratccha svh
Om vajra purpe ah hm, Om vajra dhpe ah hm, Om vajra loke ah
hm, Om vajra gandhe ah hm, Om vajra naividye ah hm, Om vajra
sabda ah hm
Request the departure with Om vajra muh. The retinue dissolves into
light and into oneself. Imagine one’s three places are marked with Om h
hm.
