ATTENDANCE POLICY
Rehearsals and performances: THIS IS A PERFORMANCE COURSE. Attendance at all performances
and rehearsals is mandatory. The concerts take the place of a final examination. All performances are on
weekends and do not conflict with other classes. Please arrange commitments (work, vacations, etc.)
around these concerts and rehearsals. Attendance is required and will affect the course grade. You are
allowed one unexcused absence. You may attend musical concerts here at UT Dallas or in the Dallas

limited to four additional absences. Any unexcused absences beyond those four cannot be made up. Please
be on time for rehearsals; our time together is limited and must be used efficiently. Late arrival will not be
tolerated. If you are not present when I take attendance, you will be marked absent.
