 In charge of news sections for a fortnightly independent student
publication, with readership of 60,000 across the city of Edinburgh.
 Responsible for six junior editors and 50 staff writers. Collaborated with

them over the course of news cycle fortnight, suggested contacts and
story angles.
 Edited up to forty articles each edition as well as writing my own articles

for each issue. I laid out the news pages of the newspaper and decided
on graphics, splashes and headlines.
 Held weekly editorial meetings where I proposed stories and features

for junior editors.

 Was rewarded by The Herald student media awards for our multi-media

reporting.
