Announces
During the past several decades, the significant and growing scholarly interest in
entrepreneurs and new venture creation, has resulted in the shaping of entrepreneurship
as a rigorous academic field of study, including the creation of several dedicated
scholarly journals and rise of entrepreneurship-specific research conferences.
The intersection of entrepreneurship and ethics, though receiving more recent research
attention, remains relatively embryonic. Entrepreneurship scholars point out the
importance of entrepreneurial ethics to the global economy and ethics researchers argue
for more empirical orientation on small and emergent firms, rather than just large
organizations, in ethics research.
We at JIM, Noida, would like to invite you to share your views & experiences, about
“Ethical Entrepreneurship” with our budding entrepreneurs. Organized by the
Entrepreneurship Cell of the institute, the ‘Entrepreneurship Summit 2011’ on 5th Feb
’11, Saturday at 10:00 am, is the inaugural event of the E-Week 2011, which aims to
bring together the entrepreneurial passions of the nation to converge on one platform.
This year the theme for “Entrepreneurship Week India 2011”is Ideas for India. Through
this event E-Cell wishes to provide the students from NCR, a chance to motivate and
educate people about entrepreneurship and serve as a meeting ground for corporate and
young budding entrepreneurs from distinguished institutions across the whole country.
About E-Week 2011
From February 5 to 12, 2011, lakhs of young students across the country will
come together to raise public awareness on ideas for India's future. Initiated by
the non-profit National Entrepreneurship Network and the Wadhwani
Foundation, E Week India 2011 is a week-long awareness campaign designed to
embrace innovation, engage communities and inspire young people to think big.
The campaign will connect young people through a range of local and national
activities and programs to harness their potential as problem-solvers and
innovators. Industry captains, experts, non-profit leaders, and faculty members
will be in attendance in large numbers to encourage, guide, and inspire students
to take action. In doing so, students will begin to gain the knowledge and skills
required to build India's next generation high-growth enterprises.
