3 Approach and Methodology
This section describes Anagrams’ approach to delivering this project collaboratively and successfully.

3.1Project Execution Approach

Anagram proposes an iterative development approach for this project, which helps in delivering incremental
business value. The scope of entire Art Studio application development is divided into multiple tracks. These
tracks can then be executed in a sequential or partially overlapped manner.
Each track is then executed using this iterative model.

3.2Methodology

Anagram will leverage its proven onsite-offshore collaboration approach along with AMG to execute the
project.

For each of the tracks we will carry out the following methodology:

All workshops regarding requirements and functional scope will be carried out at onsite. The
information which will be documented will be shared with the initial team of offshore so as to initiate
common base of understanding.
The key outcome of the functional specification document will be leveraged to build the design of the
system and become inputs to the Testing strategy.
The design is a collaborative onsite-offshore activity where-in inputs will be taken from various sources
including Microsoft DirectX 9 to help create a robust design framework for the solution.
The primary build happens at offshore while the onsite team will continue to refine the build with
continuous inputs from AMG. The time shift between onsite and offshore enables round the clock
development activity with possibilities of overlapping build of modules or customization.
We will demonstrate the build iteratively in the form of prototype to AMG to receive feedback and
refine the build primarily from offshore along with support from onsite team.
The final version will be developed, tested and made ready for deployment to AMG Release
management team.
Given the nature of the overlapping tracks, We will focus on the analysis and design of the other tracks
while the initial track is the process of build and testing.
The deployment of the solution will be carried out after UAT and iterative bug fixing into the production
environment followed by warranty support for that track.
4 Resource Management
The staffing plan for this engagement is a derivative of proposed onsite offshore project execution methodology
along with the need to have overlapping tracks. The activities that need close collaboration with AMG business
and IT will be primarily carried out at onsite, construction and QA activities will be primarily done at AMG
ODC at Hyderabad, India.

4.1 Resource Ramp-up Plan

Anagram proposes to have a Technical Architect at onsite, who will also be responsible for project management
activities. We also propose to have a dedicated Project Manager at offshore.

Anagram onsite team will comprise of Technical Architect, Functional Experts and Business Analysts, who will
engage in functional analysis workshops with AMG team.

The Anagram onsite team will carry out design activities with support from AMG ODC at Hyderabad. The
Anagram onsite team will engage in joint design sessions with AMG team and get feedback on proposed
design.

Anagram proposes to have a dedicated QA Manager at onsite, beginning with testing phase of Track-I. This role
will continue at onsite throughout the project duration.

This resource management plan is optimized to ensure maximum collaboration with AMG team, high quality
deliverables, high offshore leverage and reduced short-term travels.

5 Project Timelines

Track I Jan 2011– Feb 2011 Includes warranty period

Track II April 2011 – May-2011 Includes warranty period
Track III Jun 2011 – Sep 2011 Includes warranty period
6 Reporting
Anagram will provide weekly status report to the AMG Program Manager. This will contain the following
details
Status of the Project
Issues and Concerns
Action required from AMG
Metrics for the elapsed reporting
Activities planned for next reporting period
