If you rely on your camera to make temperature

measurements or find problems related to thermal
anomalies, it’s important to have the proper maintenance
on the camera. Without proper maintenance, the camera
can yield false readings.

You cannot credibly promote the validity of your infrared

findings if you have no process in place to insure that
your camera is operating within specification.

The FLIR Service Division is your factory certified source

for annual service and repair for all FLIR brand infrared
cameras. We are ISO 9001:2000 certified and our exclusive
14 Point Inspection and Calibration program uses
temperature references that are calibrated annually and
traceable to SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden or
to the National Institute of Standards of Testing.

FLIR offers a variety of service packages to help you
gain the most from your investment in a FLIR infrared
camera. FLIR also recommends its FLIR 14 Point
Inspection and Calibration program on an annual basis
to secure correct temperature readings.

Inspection & Calibration program

Perform a complete operational check

Fusion calibration and laser alignment, when applicable

Verify all internal cable and PCB connections

Clean viewfinder and check optics

Upgrade internal camera software to latest revisions

Perform minor repairs

Verify and/or re-equalize as needed each temperature range for image uniformity

Verify standard lens calibration (others or special engineered lenses, optional)

Verify ambient temperature compensation as needed

Re-calibration to ensure it meets factory specification

Calibrate temperature ranges up to +1,500°C, when applicable

Premier Service Package

The Premier Service Package will give you priority service
which in most cases results in a leadtime of only a few
days.
The premier service package offers the complete, hi-tech
14 Point Inspection and Calibration service. This package
includes all parts and labour. Annual maintenance and
calibration is the key to maintaining the high performance
and field worthiness of your infrared camera. Without annual
maintenance and calibration your infrared camera can deliver
false readings.

This package offers you a solid value with built-in annual

maintenance, calibration, hardware and software repair
service, includes all parts and labour and even insures a
rapid turn-around including both General maintenance and
Extended warranty, all at a highly affordable price.

Extended Warranty Package

The Extended Warranty Package covers parts and labour

for your IR camera.
This can be a valuable service should your camera encounter
hardware or software issues.

The Extended Warranty Package provides you with additional

coverage after your initial warranty coverage has expired. The
Extended Warranty Package can be purchased at point of sale
or be purchased before the end of the warranty period. It pro-
vides coverage even if your camera is used continuously 24
hours a day 7 days a week.

General Maintenance Package

The general maintenance package offers a complete,

hi-tech 14 point inspection and calibration service.
Annual maintenance and calibration is the key to maintaining
the high performance and field worthiness of your infrared
