I am a strong fine candidate presently studying a part-time MSc Chemical Engineering with Design at the
University of Manchester, accredited by the International Chemical Engineering Association as I feel strongly
about pursuing my career in this field, I and my work colleagues see myself to perform in many jobs, as my
abilities to adapt and learn tasks is very efficient, be it physical or mental.
Actively searching for a permanent position, that will utilise my skills, and willing to give me challenges, I require
to reach Chartered Chemical Engineer status, my ideal work position would be to carry out process simulation,
design calculations, and given the opportunity to further expand my knowledge in utility, energy and process
systems to a professional level, other positions suitable for my role in this field will also be considered.

The Project undertaken was to compare and contrast the difference of heat exchangers, to find the best mode
of heat transfer across two streams, using their variables, the project involved comparing efficiency of cooling
towers fan assisted or draft, plate heat exchangers, using various flow methods, concentric tube and
comparison of jacketed pan and immersed coil.

I worked at all times, to my full ability as a technical process assistant, with key success in solving problems in
the process department, carrying out product development, involved in research and seeking professional
advice from senior research and development scientists, who I was able to absorb a large amount of
information and skills.
Other work involved illustrating and using graphical methods, to express product properties, rates of reaction, for
process development of products, and given responsibilities to take part in research of developing cheaper
chemical alternatives, by keeping or improving the product quality within cost boundaries.

My main leisure pursuit is to keep fit and healthy. I am a member of a fitness club which I attend on a weekly
basis, as I see been fit and healthy is a big part of life and will always be a constant aim of mine.

Other interest and activities involve researching and further reading on subject related issues in chemical
process engineering, and process simulation software use.
