JOB DESCRIPTION:
 POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage SNL Pakistan’s HR operations, including:

On boarding efforts, assistance in talent acquisition, program offerings, internal


corporate communications and employee relations. Collaborate with business
leaders, Associate Director of HR & Associate Director of Pakistan Operations to
determine human capital and resource needs in order to align recruiting and
training efforts with business objectives. Produce consistent communication
messaging around human resources programs and company wide initiatives.
Oversee and ensure compliance with company policies and employment law;
coordinate and deliver compliance-related informational sessions.

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Collaborate with Associate Director of HR to develop, implement and monitor


recruitment and selection strategies and tactics, incorporating industry best
practices in support of SNLs overarching business strategy.
 Lead, manage and develop the HR team members.
 Analyze key talent acquisition measures (time-to-fill, aging reqs,
cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, relevant yields, etc) to assess the
effectiveness and efficiency of the talent acquisition practice; report
out; and process improve where needed.
 Work in coordination with office coordinator to promote SNL ’s EVP
through brand awareness generated via advertisement, social
networking, area recruiting events (campus information sessions,
club/organization meetings) etc., to engage top talent.
 Manage the employee on boarding process by leading day 1
orientation; facilitating quarterly welcome to SNL presentations;
conducting 60/180-day check-ins and quarterly one-year anniversary
sessions. Analyze, report and recommend action on employee
feedback obtained.
 Update Employee Handbook and communicate policy changes
across the organization.
 Assist managers with development and implementation of employee
performance

Details: Duties include but are not limited to:

 RECRUITING
 Actively scout the labor market for passive hires
 Devise tests to pre-screen applicants for new positions
 Oversee interview scheduling
 Oversee testing of prospective candidates
 Conduct interviews
 Coordinate video conference interviews with management in the US
 Create and maintain procedures on recruiting
 Represent SNL at local recruiting events, at universities and all
academic boards
 Conduct quarterly salary surveys to benchmark against
compensation metrics in the market
 Negotiate compensation with prospective new hires and employee
development trainers
 Initiate and record employee surveys
 Maintain relationship with recruiting firms and portals
 Source, devise and present business cases on benefits that would
incentive employees

 TRAINING

 Promulgate employee training and development activities


 Source and oversee external trainers for employee development
 Participate in new employee setup, orientations and process employee
terminations
 Manage new employee training program

 HR (LEAVES, BENEFITS, ATTENDANCE, RECORDS)

 Maintain and monitor employee facilitation services like transportation,


meal subsidies, activities, in-house medical facilities
 Maintain employee handbook and proactively revise for amendments
 Track and monitor attendance, overtime and leaves
 Maintain employee records and binding agreements
 Maintain asset and lease record of assets provided to employees
 Advise management on best practices in industry

 HR MANAGEMENT

 Conduct regular meetings with the departments and discuss for the
updates. Freely discuss with them about any problems or difficulties. Try to
solve that at the earliest and bring this to the notice of senior management.
 In case of emergencies related to systems or premises, contact the either
facility manager or network manager as required.
 Motivate and encourage the employees to perform best for SNL.
 Manage and monitor employees on performance improvement plans
 Escalate employee concerns to stakeholders at the Pakistan and US office
 Collate and maintain employee suggestions and queries
