The polar bear is a relentless hunter. Its movements are associated with the movement

ice belt along the Arctic coast where seals are plentiful.

He considered everything. He considered selling his mother’s guavas in the garden. He
considered borrowing from his youngest sister as she was the kindest. Finally, Jamal
considered his mother. He mustered all his courage and went up to his mother to ask to be
considered for a small loan. As expected his mother gave him a lecture on thrift and the
virtues of saving. Jamal listened meekly. The lecture was not important. What was
important was the outcome. At the end of the thirty-minute lecture, his mother agreed to
give him RM1500.00.
“And that is not even my money. It’s from the sale of the guavas,” his mother said
tartly.
Jamal didn’t care even if it was the sale of chillies, he was over the moon. He yelped and
