Other props for the room
We are happy to source or make these and provide hire costs, or you can ask people to bring something
similar:
Lots and LOTS of different types of clocks or make them from card and attach EVERYWHERE.
A black cuddly toy cat. Create a big grin from white card and attach it.
Pink Flamingos – you can buy several options including inflatables and pinattas OR you can buy kitsch
pink drinks stirrers instead.
flowers
Fresh flowers are always best and add so much more to an event as they give the impression the
decoration has been thought out. They don’t have to be expensive. You can pick up some very pretty
bunches from supermarkets these days for under £10.
STYLIST TIP: For Faye’s hen stick to pretty pinks, peaches, whites and neutrals with some strikes of
that gorgeous blue.
Arrange some of the larger flower heads as single heads in tea cups and organise different sizes of
bunches for the tea pots. Put the tea cups around the room on stools and shelves. Don’t be afraid to cut
them down to size.
Mini hat Fascinator making
kits
Kits contain a black mini top hat with a selection
of gorgeous fabrics and feathers and
embellishments.
Black hats for the group and a white hat for Faye.
Or you can set guests tasks to complete by the end of the tea party. Perhaps
someone has to use the word ‘uranium’ in a sentence addressing the group or
perhaps someone else has to scratch their ear with another person’s teaspoon
and let them catch them.
These little conversation starters can help bring the group together.
Gifts for the girls
Afternoon tea recipe cards to take home – tied up with lace and pearls - £3 each.
Similar designed Lottery Ticket cards - £1.20 each (exc lottery ticket)

Cancellation
If you have to cancel your order and you do so within 30 day of the agreed delivery/collection date then you will incur no charge and your deposit will be
returned in full. However if cancellation takes place within 30 days of the agreed delivery/collection date your 50% pre paid deposit is non-returnable.

Packaging
All of your items will be packaged carefully and must be returned to Pretty Vintage having been repackaged with due care and placed back into their
original boxes or crates. The crockery is obviously fragile and if you choose to avoid a washing up surcharge and wish to wash the items yourself it is
imperative that they are hand washed and dried with care. These vintage items were obviously not designed for dish washers!
Linen
Please make sure that any linen is dry and free of debris before being packed away. If tablecloths and napkins are left damp they are highly susceptible
to mildew. Damage caused by mildew, cigarettes, candle burns, or heavy staining will be charged at full replacement cost which is £10 per cloth and
£1.50 per napkin.
