INTRODUCTION
The training program will provide participants with a sound knowledge of
the main components of a computer. Participants will learn how to
maintain, repair and troubleshoot PCs, as well as to maintain the
workstation. The course consists of theory and hands-on sessions to
ensure that delegates fully understand the presented material. The
classroom is fully equipped with software and hardware for each participant
as well as exercise, case study, and question and answer session with an
experience trainer.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES
1. To recognize PC components and understand their function in the system.
2. To define and identify concepts and practices related to the operation and
maintenance of a personal computer system.
3. To provide the student with knowledge of the proper installation,
configuration, upgrading, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing
microcomputer hardware.
4. To provide the student with basic knowledge of safety and preventative
maintenance; motherboard, processor and memory technology; printers and
portable systems.
5. To understand PC compatible systems; learn how to maintain, upgrade and
repair PCs; locate and identify failing components; use diagnostics to help
determine problems; repair hardware and software problems.
6. To increase analytical and problem solving skills through understanding
troubleshooting techniques.

TRAINER'S PROFILE
Mohd Hamizi bin Jamaludin , a trainer with a proven record of success has
been in Information Technology for more than 8 years. His technical
knowledge has earned him the opportunity to rise the corporate ladder at a
very young age. His ability to conduct training based on his real life working
experiences has certainly enhanced his training ability. As an industry based
consultant, his training has always been very well balanced with hands - on
experience.
His exposure in his working environment has helped in gain not only vast
knowledge but also the experience at the same time. As a trainer, he is able
to not only deliver his knowledge, but also share his experiences. He holds
MCDST (Microsoft Certified Data Support Technic), A+ Certification
(Hardware & Software), Mile2 (Security), Mobile Technology Training (Nokia,
Sony Ericsson, O2, Dopod etc) & Professional Certificate in Microsoft
Windows NT Workstation 4.0, NT Server 4.0, Microsoft Press Certificate in
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
