Achilles
Son of Peleus and the Nereid Thetis, greatest Argive hero of the Troyan war
Achievements
Story
Achilles was one of the many heroes recruited by Agamemmon and Menelaus on their
expedition of the conquest to Troy. At first he refused, but after lengthy convincing he agreed.
When they finally reached Troy he fought well, but after 3 or 5 years, he got into an argument
with Agamennon and he refused to fight. His best friend Patrocules took his armor and with his
leadership he moved the Trojans back, but alas, their successfulness did not last, and Patrocules
was slain by the great Hector, the hero of the Trojan army. In a frenzy of grief, Achilles nearly
committed suicide, if not for his faithful companions who held him back. His mother Thetis
then brought him new armor, and he forgave Agammenon.
