it can also be removed and refitted quickly.
On-support rotation and on-guide slide-shift ensure the tray
holder is comfortably within reach at all times.

Dentist’s module touch-control

Slight pressure on the handle is all that’s needed to
deactivate the pneumatic lock on the dentist’s module
arm. Moved effortlessly on its self-balancing system, the
module is then stabilised in the desired working position.

Swivel tray holder module, available in two versions: Assistant’s tray holder module: the option of a removable,
regular for 2 trays and small for 1 tray. adjustable stainless steel tray installed on the assistant’s module
provides even greater working versatility.

The cuspidor bowl: a detail that makes the difference

Simple solutions that are as practical as they are
outstanding. The cuspidor bowl has been specially
designed to minimise bulk; yet despite its essential lines it
still retains excellent holding capacity and depth.
In its stand-by position it is stowed in the unit body,
significantly increasing the amount of work space available
to the assistant.

A button on both
the dentist’s and assistant’s
modules activates cuspidor bowl
movement and the rinse program,
simultaneously activating chair
and bowl until the correct position
is reached.

PROFESSIONALISM ALSO MEANS
PUTTING THE PATIENT AT EASE
The new chair, thinner than the previous version, has a tapered section between the seat and lumbar support, to facilitate
approach and help freedom of movement for both the dentist and the assistant.
In addition to supplying comfortable anatomical support for the patient, the new chair movement (from 90° to Trendelenburg
position) is smooth and regular.

Pneumatic headrest
With the new 3-axis pneumatic headrest (optional) the
dentist can obtain optimal positioning of the patient’s
head. Simple, effortless release is achieved via a key
conveniently placed on the lower side of the headrest.

OUTSTANDING PRECISION AND PERFORMANCE
NEW INTEGRATED X-RAY SENSOR
THE SMALLEST FOCAL SPOT AVAILABLE FOR INTRAORAL IMAGING
THE FLEXIBILITY OF WIRELESS CONTROL INTEGRATED RADIOLOGY

Enhanced diagnostic capacity

To complete your treatment centre, Anthos offers you its ZEN-X sensor and high-frequency X-ray system RXDC HyperSphere,
whose diagnostic potential complements the multimedia system for direct communication. Thanks to the intraoral sensor, it is
now possible to immediately view an X-ray image on the LCD unit. Screen integration and the immediate availability of diagnostic
data enhance the medical team efficiency, preventing down time and interruptions in the workflow.

ZEN-X
The new smoothed, rounded edge ZEN-X X-ray sensor is
conveniently located on the dentist’s module. Readily available
precision diagnostics and above all, extra comfort thanks
to the sensor’s rounded shape that perfectly adapts to the
patient’s oral cavity.

The sensor, available in two sizes, has a compact, sturdy

design thanks to rear lead mounting and lining seal. The
sensor, whose overall size has been reduced to facilitate
positioning in the mouth, enables to quickly obtain highly
accurate clinical images.

RXDC HyperSphere
HyperSphere technology makes RXDC different from all
other commercially available X-ray systems. The RXDC X-ray
tube head can be manoeuvred comfortably with just one
hand. The tube head lock-on/lock-off device swivelling on the
steel sphere enables effortless and highly accurate reposi-
tioning of the tube head. Once the desired exposure position
has been reached it remains perfectly stable.

Wireless control
RXDC is supplied with a portable wireless digital control
device that can be installed anywhere in the dental studio.
The control device offers a full range of intuitive exposure
programs and four buttons designed to make correct X-ray
image acquisition a straightforward process.
The RXDC X-ray system defines automatically the correct
exposure by selecting the anatomic district of interest.

DENTAL CAMERAS WITH PROGRESSIVE SCAN TECHNOLOGY

LASER EVOLUTION PRECISION LIGHTING
Progressive Scan
Digital Progressive Scan technology gives sharp freeze-frame images without analogue conversion of the video signal. The freeze-frame
function can be used via the foot control or directly on the handpiece thanks to the Touch-Sensitive control. Either way, freeze-frame
images without vibration-induced blur can easily be obtained.

C-U2
The digital intraoral camera C-U2 offers the highest bri-
ghtness rating in its category and provides super-sharp
images via the Focus Free system making manual focus-
sing unnecessary. With the handpiece built-in micropro-
cessor, brightness adjustment is done automatically.

C-U2 PRO
PRO optics provides images via three different focal adju-
stments.
Macro Close-Up enhances the perception of the tiniest
details.
Intra-oral Depth of Focus allows for complete inspection of
the oral cavity.
Extra-oral position allows for the easy capture of a smile,
to add to patient records.

MEDICAL VIEW 15”

Flat-screen monitor with PC and video inputs.
In compliance with the EC Directive 93/42, the screen is
made of optical glass with sealed edges to prevent any
infiltration of liquids.

LASER INTEGRAL WITH DENTAL UNIT

Anthos, manufacturers of state-of-the-art equipment to meet
the needs of modern dental surgery, offer dentists a new device
integral with the dental unit. The laser device is suitable for a
variety of dental applications and is a major step forwards to
the most advanced forms of dental surgery.
A – cutting handpiece
NEW POTENTIAL
Incorporation of the diode laser opens up a wide range of
possibilities for the dentist by offering greater potential in
terms of both treatment type and effectiveness. In the
aesthetic field, lasers can give positive whitening results.
With the correct handpiece in-depth treatment can remove
stains from the dentine.
B – biostimulation handpiece (optional)
Lasers ensure heightened achievement of treatment goals
and shorter healing times. Use of lasers is suitable in the fol-
lowing applications where their decontaminating effect is
particularly efficient: mucogingival surgery, parodontology,
endodontics and desensitisation of the dentine.

C – defocalized handpiece for whitening

WHE (Water Hygienisation Equipment)

An automatic system that ensures permanent disinfection
of spray and water-to-cup circuits via the addition of H2O2 to
inhibit the formation of biofilm. The system also features a
Type A air gap separation from mains water as per EN 1717
(DVGW certified).

BIOSTER
Automatic disinfection system for spray water circuits.
The simplicity of an automatic system that makes end-of-
work sanitising procedures extremely simple and guarantees
disinfection of spray water and rinse circuits even after the
dental unit has been idle for a long period.

Distilled water tank

This system ensures quality and conformity with water
supply hygiene requirements independent of drinking
water quality.
The 2-litre bottle incorporated on the unit body can be
removed for easy filling and sanitisation.

Automatic suction system wash and sanitising device

Device for rapid wash cycles and subsequent disinfection
of the suction system (via liquid drawn from dedicated tank).

O.D.R. spray anti-retraction system

Device fitted on all dynamic instruments: blocks droplet
retraction completely and prevents backflow contamination
of spray circuits.

FLUSHING
The water circuit washing system allows the piping to be rin-
sed quickly and effectively by means of a water flow which
can be adjusted from one to five minutes. This makes it easy
to remove any water left in the pipes overnight.
The FLUSHING function is already included in the optional
BIOSTER device.
