DESCRIPTION

• The facility consists 20 process tanks is positioned in a straight line with loading
and unloading station at one end.
• The job is transported from tank to tank on a flight bar automatically/ manually
by the transporter.
• The process tanks are fabricated from SS and PP

maintained under AMC.

ANNUAL SERVICE & MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

Scope , Terms and Conditions

Scope of the work (Non-comprehensive maintenance


contract)

The party should depute self sufficient, competitive and efficient manpower
experienced to handle routine maintenance and service works for all items comprising
of

01. Black Anodising facility


02. Magnesium Anodising Facility
03. D M Water Plant

backed by a team of experts, to handle the case in the event of emergency or major
breakdown.

Details:

The personnel to be deployed to carryout the work should be competent to handle


preventive maintenance work (Electrical, electronics and mechanical ) as well as
breakdowns, if any.

A Back-up team, experienced in similar works should be readily available to


assist the deployed personnel to take up any major repair or service at the site.

No. of preventive maintenance Services required per month : 2.

Contract period is: 2 years, starting February, 2007.

Terms And Conditions

1. The deployed personnel should have adequate knowledge and skill to


carryout the required maintenance/service work. The Contractor must
keep thorough watch on the quality of each work and every activity and
bear the responsibility for the work to get the desired end results.

2. These personnel shall coordinate with the Thermal Process Section


(ISRO) engineers to plan the work. They shall report to Thermal Process
Section Engineers, EC Lab, TFD,TSG. They will assist the Thermal
Process Section Engineers in planning preventive maintenance work, in
procuring spares for the facility etc..

3. The persons engaged for this work must he skilled and the party should
ensure the working assignment to the same person(s). The change in
manpower till the completion of contract is not permitted. Hence only
specially skilled and trained personnel identified for a particular work shall
be employed.

4. The contractor shall depute only such persons who are careful, skilled and
experienced in their trades. The Thermal Process Section Engineers shall
be at liberty to object to any person employed by the contractor about the
execution of work, who in the opinion of Engineer misconducts himself or
violates any rules or is incompetent or found negligent in delivering his
duties. The contractor may have to take corrective action on such reports.

5. Depending on the situation and in case of emergency the personnel


deployed by the party will be asked to work after office hours or on
holidays. No extra claim, whatsoever may be, shall be entertained under
any circumstances.

6. The parties interested to quote for this work should visit the E C LAB,
LPSC Campus to inspect these set-ups to update themselves about the
facilities.

7. We have limited stock of spare parts for these facilities and will be made
available to the party whenever required.

8. The party should make a comprehensive list of spares that may be


required to be replaced (either incase of wear out or failure) with the
price list. It should be submitted along with the offer for the
maintenance contract. The price quoted for these spares should be
valid through out the contract period. Whenever any replacement is
required, the party should procure the item and produce the invoice
for the same. The payment (equivalent to price quoted by the party
for that particular item at the time of entering into contract) for such
replacements shall be made after the certification of the invoice by
the Engineer, Thermal Process Section. The party is expected to
have a stock of these items at their stores.

9. Due to the security restrictions the party must deploy minimum number of
personnel for routine maintenance
