Christina has a passion for beauty products and fashion trends - she brings a
fresh perspective to the magazine. Her fashion sense started long before she
wasvoted "BestDressed" in high school, butwas refined through careful study
of fashion trends - both domestically and in Europe. In addition to fashion,
Christina spends hours learning about the ingredients in the beauty prod-
ucts she promotes. Her philosophy is that the products you put in your body

Grant Whittaker is a true fashion fanatic and artist. Originally from Germany,
he began his career as a dancer and women's boutique buyer in Europe. He
later moved into the role of choreographer for video, fashion and industrial
shows.The workinspiredWhittaker to studystyling,hair and makeup. He then
took a position on Christian Dior's national makeup team in Chicago. \,Vhit-
taker was lured to Minneapolis after getting involved with Marshall Field's
famed Fash Bash event. He is known both locally and nationally as a talented
stylist,hair and makeup artist, fashion correspondent and show producer.
3. MICHAEL SWANSON THE EPICUREAN
This column is a new endeavor for the St. Paul writer. He holds a firm
belief that the enjoyrnent of simple pleasures like food and drink leads
to a deeper appreciation of the beauty to be found in life and peo-
ple. In keeping with this aspect of Epicurean philosophy, it is his privi-
lege to bring you stories about the pleasures of the palate. Along with
long-time friend Dr. Bruce Gleason, he is the author of Being a Man
for All Seasons: The Renaissance Man's Guide to Cooking and Life.
4. JASON HAMMERBERG t/EN'S STYLE EDITOR
Minneapolis-based clothing designer Jason Hammerberg has been
designing men's clothing during the past decade for large corporate
retailers and small start-up ventures. Armed with a business degree in
retail, coupled with a master's degree in apparel design and manufactur-
ing, Jason has the business mind to back up his creativity. His current en-
deavorsfeature him in the driver's seat as he has stepped out on his own,
creating brands for himself and others that are being sold internationally.

Merle Minda is a Twin Cities writer and marketing consultant. Formerly
president of MindaAssociates,her own public relations agency,she became
a senior executive at Fleishman Hillard P.R.when they acquired her compa-
ny. Since 2002, Merle Minda has traveled extensively and published many
feature articles on travel, food and decor, celebrity profiles and business.

A sometime connoisseur of art, cinema, literature and flaming cock-
tails, Elizabeth Millard writes on a variety of topics, from the near-im-
possibility of clearing one's monkey mind during yoga poses, to the
profiles of art collectors and bon vivants seen in this very periodical.
7. SHELBY MEYERS FFREELANCEWRlTFF
A Twin Cities native, Shelby Meyers writes for local and national lifestyle
publications, covering everything from music to design. After writing for
MTV News in Los Angeles, Shelby went on to report for Radio 96.8 in
Bonn, Germany and complete her degree in International Journalism.
An avid traveler, Shelby also spent time studying in Belarus and work-
ing as an English instructor in Hungary. She is inspired by language,
live music and weekends spent rummaging through antique stores.
8. AMBER SCHADEWALD FFREELANCEWRITER
Amber Schadewald is a Twin Cities writer with a passion for electron-
ic music, neon colors and longboarding in the moonlight. Known
to scribble in her journal, on gum wrappers or the bottoms of her
sneakers, Amber writes down story ideas and unique observations
whenever necessary making sure not to forget the irritating details.
Curious by nature, Amber is not afraid to stare or initiate awkward con-
versation with strangers to rake in hot news or the best deal for her buck.
