About Pro-IT

The 1st edition of Pro-IT will be held from 21 to 22 April 2011 at the Freeport of Mauritius
(FOM) Exhibition Centre and is organised jointly by the NCB and MITIA.

Pro-In 2011 offers a unique platform to companies in the ICT sector to showcase their
products, services, emerging technologies and solutions in a commercially interesting
environment. Over 3,000 people are expected to visit Pro-IT 2011.

Pro-IT aims to establish itself as the most important B2B IT Exhibition in the Indian Ocean.
The event is targeted almost exclusively towards professionals of the ICT sector, SMB’s,
corporate, Finance Managers and IT decision makers and the business community from
Mauritius and the region.

The ProIT 2011 Exhibition will house 30 stands for exhibitors, of various sizes ranging from 9,
18 and 36 m-2, to showcase their products and services.

In parallel with the Exhibition, conferences and product demos will also be held. Selected key-
note speakers will be invited.

Entrance to the fair is free of charge but the access is restricted to people with an invitation,
pre-registration or upon presentation of business credentials (business card) or press card.

Opening of Pro-IT 2011

An Opening Ceremony will be held at the FOM Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 20 April 2011
from 10:30 to 11:30 followed by a visit to the Exhibition Hall.

ProIT 2011 will be officially launched by the Minister of Information Technology and
Telecommunications of Mauritius, Honourable Tassarajen Pillay Chedumbrum.

The objectives and benefits of participating in ProIT 2011 Exhibition are to:

The exhibition is open to ICT solution providers looking for a networking and B2B platform to
showcase and market their expertise, products and services.

How to participate?

Companies who wish to participate in ProIT 2011 should submit their application form to
MITIA. The form is available on the web sites of ProIT (www.ProIT.mu) as well as NCB
(www.ncb.mu) and MITIA (www.mauritius-mitia.org).

To ensure that the event meets its objective of being a high quality B2B event, only
companies satisfying specific criteria of being IT professional service providers, will be allowed
to participate.

Booking of stands is on first come first serve basis.

Stand Details

A total of 30 stands (10 Stands of 9 m2, 10 stands of 18 m2 and 10 stands of 36 m2 will be


available with the following facilities:

 Facia (Transparent) and Signage.

 Blue Carpet.

 Spot Lights – 2 spotlights of 40 Watt each per 9 m2 of stand space.

 Electrical requirements - 3 French Sockets and 2 English Sockets, of 240volts & 32


amps each, are provided per 9 m2.

 WIFI will be available in the exhibition hall.

 Partitioning, wherever requested.

Conferences

Two conference rooms will be available for exhibitors and sponsors only to make
presentations on their products and solutions.
All exhibitors are eligible to book a slot for conference on a first come first serve basis. More
