I. TITLE
Observation of Blood Type
II. OBJECTIVES
To observe the blood type of one person in the group.
III. MATERIAL
Muscle that is active movement, but the skeleton is passive movement. Ability of
muscle to contraction is caused we can done some activity or our body can move from
one place to another place. Can strongest boxing and soften of wink of eyes.
IV. INSTRUMENT AND MATERIALS
Instruments:
1. Statif
2. Yarn
3. Petri disc
4. Battery
5. Cable
Materials:
1. Muscle leg of frog
2. HCL
3. Lugol
V. STEPS
1. Rearrange instrument like the chapter below :

2. Soak the leg muscle of frog in finger liquid before to set

3. Pay the muscle, don’t make it dry until the practicum end with the finger liquid
4. Give impulse the leg of frog using electric current by tendon 5 times, each the
impulse in one minute.
5. Done the activity like the fourth steps. The impulse exchange with HCL. Put a drop
HCL in to leg muscle of frog.
6. Write down the result.
VI. OBSERVATION RESULT
Kind impulse Minute…. Explanation
1 2 3 4 5
Electric current 45 41 38 32 24 Electric current is the impulse of the
muscle contraction. Electric current is
the strong impulse.
HCL 3 0 0 0 0 HCL is the impulse of the muscle
contraction. Electric current is the
weak impulse.

VIII. DISCUSSION
a. How the effect leg of muscle if given some impulse?
The muscle of leg is contraction.
b. Between the both differences treatment which one the treatment is faster the
contractions and the slower reaction?
The electric current makes faster contraction, and HCL makes slower contraction.
c. What the conclusion based on the above activity?
1. Electric current and HCL are the impulse for the muscle of legs contraction.
2. Electric current makes faster contraction, and HCL makes slower contraction.
3. If the muscle is stimulated in a long time, the contraction will be decrease. And
finally the muscle damage.
d. Muscle need some energy to contractions, were come from energy is gotten? Give
explanation.
The energy for contraction is gotten by ATP that available in the muscle, beside
ATP, there is keratin phosphate. And the energy for making ATP and keratin
phosphate is procurable from glucose breaking in blood. And the glucose is
procurable from food.
e. What happens if the muscle doesn’t give impulse?
The contraction wouldn’t happen.

IX. CONCLUSION
1. Electric current and HCL are the impulse for the muscle of legs contraction.
2. Electric current makes faster contraction, and HCL makes slower contraction.
3. If the muscle is stimulated in a long time, the contraction will be decrease. And
finally the muscle damage.
