Introduction

2010 has given witness to the effects of the financial crisis on the PV industry, with some companies
surviving, and others washed out. Despite these effects, the industry as a whole has recuperated and is
displaying strong growth trends once again.

ENF Ltd is now ready to offer its 4th edition of the Chinese Cell and Panel Manufacturers Report. The total
data collection process has taken 15 man-months of time, concluding August 2010. Since then, we have been
rigorously conducting quality checks, ensuring our status as the most accurate and trustworthy source of PV
information on the market.

information on the China PV market is vital for those interested in participating in PV business. Our ground-
level experience and long-term industry relationships allow us to gather and present this information,
offering you key insights into the Chinese PV market, players and trends.

The information we are delivering can be used by:

 Sales people from equipment manufacturers as well as cell, panel, glass and EVA manufacturers.

Methodology

ENF collected company data through telephone interviews with each manufacturer (including follow-up
emails and faxes when requested). Aside from phone calls, ENF collected 20 companies' data through face-
to-face visits.

After collection of the data, each company was emailed their detailed information in Excel format, to check
that all facts were recorded properly.

Data Checks were performed using our previous reports and external data sources as references. In addition
further information on equipment details was gathered from direct contact with 64 equipment manufacturers
supplying to the China region. This cooperation gave us direct access to customer lists with which we could
 further fill out missing equipment data that manufacturers were unwilling to disclose.

For those companies that gave partial information, estimates have been made for the missing information
based on information given by 3rd parties, logical conclusions (such as manufactured cell sizes based on the
cell sizes used in their panel production) and market trends from other Chinese survey participants
