Market - market is a place where buy and purchasing activities happens
in terms of money, there is several forms of market is in the place due to
the rapid economic growth and globalization. Currently there is trend of
supermarket.

Activities in supermarket:
 Shoppers looking for aisles where they can find specific products;
 Lines forming at the cash registers.
 Workers sticking new prices to items on the shelves;
List of shoppers’ and workers’ activities that could be carried out with
the less use human time and more accuracy by the addition of IT.
List of shoppers activities –
 Shopping of products.
 Checking the variety of products.
 Checking the quality of products.
 Availability of sufficient amount of the products.
 Price of the products.
 Brands and company related to the products.
 Discounts on products.
List of workers activities –
 Showing the products.
 Giving knowledge about the products.
 Checking and Awaring the availability of products to the customers.
 Concentrating on some illegal activities like thefting by the customers
 Keeping knowledge about the customers test and preferences.
 Keeping information and knowledge about the customers.
All those activities can easily be carried out with less human
interference and high degree of accuracy in the work.
Answers -
(a> shoppers can easily find out there specific products by using of
online or offline IS with the help of kiosk.
(b> there no need to form line in cash counter, if sensor enabled
trolleys is used to carry goods because sensor can read the tag of
products.
(c>there is no need to stick price and product tags by the workers,
there is a solution that, if the shopping malls or stores used to have
sensor enable trolleys then it can easily read the whole information of
the product, so the information need to feed in to the systems or it can
be provide by the vendors , therefore if any of the customer put
product say shirt in the trolleys then immediately the trolleys read the
information and give the detail about the product to the system
operator seating in cash counter.

Contemplating the concept of electronic book is very nice and fruitful
concept for the globe because world should change and adopt or
innovate new technology according to the changes, but book will be
publish in the mini disc could not be the sustainable factor in terms of
the company as well as customer because it is very tough to save and
keep very well to the disc, so as a strategic consultant I will not
suggest to the company for these concept.
a) As a strategic consultant I will advice to stop working on it.
b) I will suggest to the company that replace the concept of medics and
go for USB or pen drive kind of thing because it is very easy to
carry and protect as well.
i) if will start working on this concept then will go for our own
manufactured reader and disc that the book will be able to run
only in our home made disc or reader which will give me multi
dimensional profit.
ii) I will go for the patent of my technology and product so that I
could enjoy sustainable competitive advantages.
iii) The price of reader will be high and disc will be low respectively.
iv) The reader would be that much compatible enough that it can run
in CD and DVD players also.
ii) My initial target customers –
Will be the corporate as well as other professionals and industry
also, Government and there agencies, students.
iii) The company’s major goal for two-three years should be:
 Consumer base – because until and unless company have to have
large no. of customer to sale the products, profit can become
automatically by the consumer base.
 Continuous technological improvement – it should be one of the
major goal company because today’s world is very much high-
technology and population are changing according to the
 technology so today’s generation need innovation and very much
new technology.
 There are several big players in the market they can crack are
tech so to beat them we have to come up with something new
and improve technology in continuous basis.
 We have to look upon consumer services because it is very much
cresols considerable factor in the mind of customer before
buying of any product.
 There is no need to very much concentrate on having large sales
force in this industry, because will go for the promotional
activity ( ATL and BTL) which will do 80% job of sales force.
 If will consider all those things then the profit and market share
of the company will easily be high within very short period of
time, because today’s customer is need to be treat as the KING,
and customer wants VALUE FOR THE MANEY and
CUSTOMER DELIGHTNESS and if we are able to fulfill all
those requirements there is no need to very much look upon
profit and market shares.

Solution 3
 FACTORY OF THE FUTURE
There is huge competition are prevailing in the market due to rapid
innovation in the market as well as higher growth in the population
and requirements of products at faster rate accordingly, so competition
and advantages from those competition can be done through huge
application of the machines and IS.
The factory of the future could not be completely human free, up to
some level we have to have manpower’s because the originator of the
machines are humans only and it can operated by human beings only.
But factory of the future could be possible through the new technology
and IS.
In future factory they will no need to enter data at all, all the customer
can have the list of required product, that list will be send
automatically through online to the suppliers of the products.
There is a different way to handled all those activities that the
manufacturing concern will have a format of product (customized)
then if any of the customers will have the requirements they directly
asked to the organization and they will mail it to the suppliers.
For the payment and collection purpose, all the banks are using
technology and all the customers as well as suppliers and organization
used to do online transaction because it is always in bulk so customer,
suppliers and company can use online transaction through the bank
and will directly go for the online payment and company can have all
those data in the e account.
Solution 5
There are several challenges the IT departmrnt is facing today, if we
speaks only about C.G. state then will find several problems that could
be the business and opportunity for others so challenges are…..
 Computer Illiteracy –
The literacy rate of our state is not good enough and if we talk
about computer literacy then it is not so well that is major
problem for the IT implantation.
 Due to some of those literacy kind of challenges employees are
leaving there job and having fear of retrenchment.
 System failure – system failure is one of the major problems that
we don’t have IT expert to make solve.
 The govt. Of C.G. have facility for their various department but
 The employees are not very much capable to operate information
system so to make it very easy govt. have to provide training
programme for that occurs huge cost for the govt.
 Data flow kind of job is not very much tough for less knowledge
full person so to do it organization required quality full person to
operate it.
 In data flow hackers can hack easily to the data so we have to
have some experts to protect the data.
