Industries of Bangladesh”. Then we are grateful to our adorable parents who had bring

II. Every employee must have application for leave before seven days.
III. Though any operator want to leave for this must have be signature of
supervisor in the application.
IV. IF any supervisor want to leave for this must have be signature of line
chief in the application.
VI. If they pass over time from theirs applicant time then their salary will cut
from their basic salary.
VII. There are good relations between employee and supervisor then
supervisor doesn’t inform the upper level about excess leave of
employee for that they don’t cut the basic salary of employee.
VIII. If the employee wants to leave for sickness so their salary decreases
50% from their monthly salary.

Maternity Benefit
X. Pregnant woman does less work than other woman. For this their salary
will not be cut.
XI. Usually they work eight hour a day and don’t do any overtime.
XII. If any pregnant workers become sick during working period, they will
get vacation .For that their salary will not cut.
XV. They get leave for four months before their delivery.
XVI. For these four months they get advance free salary.

Health and Hygiene
Every garment’s industry follows some rules for their employee’s health and hygiene:
i. If any employee feel sick and want to leave then supervisor justify
it and realize that employee really sick then they consider it either
leave or not.
iv. At least two sweepers are employed to clean every sector. This
sector are –
Swing sector
Cutting sector
Finishing sector
Varnishing sector

Comparison
To compare the labor acts 2006 in garments industry in S.C.I. fashion club. We see that,
this garments industry follow maximum rules of labor acts 2006. We also see that this
industry give extra maternity benefit than the labor acts. The industries follows their own
rolls & also follows the labor acts 2006.

i. If any employee wants to leave they must apply before ten days &
authority has been granted the application in five days.
ii. Though any worker become sick suddenly the authority give live instantly.
For this reason they do not cut their basic salary.
iii. They do not get any leave without public holiday. In serious cases they
obtain leave but their salary will be reduced.
Maternity Benefit
iv. The authority granted leave for four weekly before delivery. After delivery
they also give leave only four weeks.
v. The industry bears the all cast of delivery.
vi. The authority do not employed any pregnant women’s for hand work.
vii. The pregnant women work seven hours instead of eight hours. But they get full salary.
viii. The authority employed a doctor to check up the pregnant worker.
ix. The pregnant women work in 1’st floor. The authority can not employed the
pregnant women in upper floor.
ii. If any employee suffer serious diseases the industry give a sum of money for
there proper treatment.
iii. The industry always tries to keep neat & clean. For this reason, they
employed sweeper.
Comparison
After collecting the information we see that Al-Muslim group follow the labor acts 2006
for procedure for leave. But in maternity benefit they don’t follow the labor acts they
follow there own industry rules. Like the industry bears all the cast of delivery but it’s not
included the labor acts. They are painted the industry at least after 4 or 5 years. But labor
acts says that where they are painted or varnished, be repainted or re-varnished at least
ones in every 3 years. In any other case, be keep white-washed or color washed & the
white washing & the color washing shall be carried out at least color washing shall be
carried out at least once in every fourteenth month but the industry does not follow the
rules.
