Thank you for downloading our monthly Shift Happened presentation: our
biased selection of events that took place in February 2011. We hope you’ll
enjoy and share the content and will be able to make use of it.
In February we have been witness of the contagious revolution throughout
the Maghreb and Middle East. The Egypt Revolution escalated, even though
Hosni Mubarak found an “off-switch” for the internet and mobile
communication. So, is this or isn’t this a facebook & Twitter revolution?
We have compared this revolution with the French revolution of 1789, and
the fall of communism in 1989 and will publish a separate presentation on
our findings: Understand the Past to See the Future – Accelerated
Revolutions and its Impact Beyond Politics.
