It is our destiny to live in inti-
mate relationship with God,
knowing the depth and delight
of being loved by Jesus, our
Bridegroom God and, in turn,
loving Him with all our hearts.
Yet many of us feel that our
experience is far from this.
Come receive practical instruc-
tion and impartation from the
Spirit who empowers the
Church to love God whole-
heartedly. No matter how weak
or strong you feel, regardless
of your previous failures, irre-
spective of your personality,
you can be ablaze with passion
for Jesus. The Holy Spirit is
restoring the first command-
ment to first place in the Body
of Christ.

February Update
Wow! What an awesome month for
God! I have been witnessing some
really great things happening here on
our missions base! We had our
“Stand” conference for the black
community and we also had a speaker
come and teach a class called “The
Theological Study of Black His-
tory”(and black people do prefer to
be called black and not “African-
American” btw). He spoke mainly
about the roll that the black commu-
nity has in the Church today. Very
powerful and very affirming for a
demographic that has been put down
by many people groups including
their own. We also had our Korean
conference. Almost a thousand Ko-
rean people came (the majority from
S.Korea) to attend this conference.
Although I wasn’t able to participate

because it was during the day, we
have a powerful desire to minister to
all nations and Korea has a huge vi-
sion for the place of prayer. They are
a people that loves the place of prayer
and desires to see God move through
the their people through prayer. We
invite them to come so we can cast a
clear vision of God’s desire for His
Church in the final days before His
return and how prayer will usher in
His Kingdom. God has a big plan!
Personally for me, it’s been a great
month. I have been getting situated
more in my role as a “full time Inter-
cessor” here. As a singer in the
prayer room I have been growing a
lot. Not necessarily vocally but in
singing the Word of God with power
and authority. I’m realizing
that………… (continued)
How you can be praying!
1. Peace and rest in my home
during this transition.
2. Eph. 1:17– for God to continue
to reveal Himself in new ways.
3. Direction in ministry at Hope
City.
Beholding In The Night...
John 3:29 He who has the bride is the bride-
groom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who
stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because
of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy
of mine is fulfilled.
We talk about so many aspects of Jesus here at the house of
prayer. One of the many facets of His glory is His friendship
with us. His desire to spend time with us and His desire for
us to desire to spend time with Him. He wants real friends.
As any man would. He is God...He is man. Therefore, He is
the fullness of the Glory, yet He is still in the form of man.
And well acquainted with our ways because He has chosen to
bear this image. And, because He is love manifest, He has
made it clear that Him becoming like man and yet still mani-
fested love, He is desiring, even more than un-relenting, un-
imaginable worship in heaven, our broken, weak little hearts
to fully love Him as He has loved us. Greater love has no
one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends(John
15:13). He did this.
Within me, I feel the invitation anytime I choose to look
upon it, this call for true friendship. I believe He desires to
be our very best friend. Deeper and more
intimate than any other relationship we have
or will ever have.
Yet, it’s so difficult! Because I can’t touch
Him. I can’t sit down at a restaurant with
Him and tell Him all of my problems and
then Him tell me how to fix it all. Not that I
can’t do this and get a response...but it’s dif-
ferent then you and I talking. For now anyways. Then I re-
member that it’s the ones who believe without seeing that are
blessed. I have to remember the One who dwells within me.
The deposit of that which is to come. And if I can dial down
and speak to this intimate friend within me, and become filled
with life un-explainable...then I can only imagine how this rela-
tionship will explode when I no longer see dimly as in a mirror
but see Him face to face.
So I gird courage onto my heart and looking ahead towards
this, I stand in the midst of this broken generation and declare
to my Friend, before the whole world, “you are mine and I am
yours! I have bound myself to you, Good Friend! Faithful
friend, I will follow you all the days of my life in faithful obedi-
ence and love as all of your friends have and will walk.” And as
He has drawn us near to the thrown of grace and called us
friends, we too call Him near to our hearts and call Him friend!

February Update continued...

singers have a powerful roll to
play within the body of Christ. It
has been a very intense reality and
journey to walk out. One of the
main reasons I came out here was
to do inner-city outreaches
through our Hope-city prayer
room in downtown KC. Last
week I was invited to become
part of one of the ministering
worship teams there. Through
this program I will be able to
minister to people who literally
come straight from the roughest
neighborhood IN THE U.S.! Per
capita this neighborhood has the
2nd highest crime rate in the
world!
Every night we have a hot dinner
on the table and in the other
room a live prayer room running
where people can come enter into
worship, receive prayer for any
issue and most importantly to re-
ceive salvation from our loving
God! I have already had an op-
portunity to pray for a recover-
ing crack addict who was living
on the streets. I was able to min-
ister the love of Jesus and pray
for clear revelation of God. It
was a powerful moment! I’m
very excited for the opportunity
to be a part of their team!
PLEASE pray for clear direction
as I minister through prayer and
song and for the Spirit of Wis-
dom and Revelation to meet me
in this place!
On another note, my home has
changed quit a bit. We’ve been
in need of 2 new roommates for
almost 6 months now. Granted
I haven’t had to cover the rent
for those 2 people but I have
had to cover the utilities.
But...God brought us 2 new guys
last month. There names are
Micah and Caleb.
Two really great guys
who came out of our
“Fire In The Night” internship.
Which is what I went through. The
really cool part about these two guys
is that they are very focused in there
Bible studies and are also really con-
siderate men. Very glad to have
them here!
I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOU!!
I hope you know that! I pray for
each and every one of you. I so de-
sire to know how I can be praying
for you. Some of you have shared
specifically how I can be pray-
ing...thank you! It means so much to
have you, both friends and my fam-
ily, partnering with me in this time
and place. Thank you for partnering
financially & in prayer and loving me
so well!
