Kathy has met with OPFC once already and it sounds like the hold up is the indemnification change. Apparently, the HTC
change is fine. Kathy is to meet with OPFC again and try and get the Indemnification change approved.

Per the e‐mail thread and subsequent discussions, please process a Purchase Req. increase for Peck Schaffer (PO )
#0000000151
in the amount of $9,000 to cover the cost of current invoices and work that Tony will be requesting in the immediate
future necessary to complete legal agreements with NURFC. The total PO amount will be well within the CB threshold,
so there is no other action necessary to complete this request. Timeframe is ASAP.

Future requests for PO increases will include the vendor name, PO number, amount, and description of work to be
performed, as well as an indication of where we are relative to the CB threshold with that vendor.

Here we can all relive a nice moment from the November 29th meeting when Barbara Nicholson of the King
Arts Complex was addressing the Commission after receiving a vote of approval for their resolution. (The
similar NURFC comment will be coming soon once I find it on the tape)
Ms. Nicholson asked to comment further. "I really would like to say thank you to all of you, but particularly the staff. I felt
at times that I was the thorn in their sides, but as many times as I called, as this was the first time we'd gone through this
process, they were absolutely wonderful, and never did I get a feel that we were annoying them. Starting from the
Executive Director all the way down, I think we had great guidance and you need to hear how terrific the staff is in working
with us. I feel compelled to say that because I was calling some days three times a day."
