Introduction
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church
and gave himself up for her,
Since God created love, the Bible is the only place to go to
understand it completely.
All relationships are based on love, including our relationship with
God. That's why our relationship with God effects all other
relationships in our lives.
Love Seeks What is Best
Ruth 3:1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, "My daughter,
should I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you?
1Cr 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is
not arrogant
1Cr 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or

Love Commits
Ruth 3:9 He said, "Who are you?" And she answered, "I am Ruth,

redeemer."
1Cr 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.
Jhn 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down
his life for his friends.
Hbr 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with
what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake
you."
Rom 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to
God, which is your spiritual worship.
Love Meets the Need
Boaz did not send Ruth back to Naomi empty-handed
Ruth 3:16 And when she came to her mother-in-law, she said, "How
