and housing with many
advantages
1/2 and 1/1-rack sizes: These
are the available housing
widths of the SIPROTEC 4
7SA522 relays, referred to a
19" module frame system.
This means that previous
models can always be repla-
ced. The space required in
the switchgear cubicle is the
same. The height is a uni-
form 243 mm (9.57 inches)
for all housing widths. All
cables can be connected
with or without ring lugs.
Plug-in terminals are avail-
able as an option.

DIGSI 4
The PC operating program
DIGSI 4 is the interface bet-
ween the user and the
SIPROTEC 4 units. It has a
modern PC operator inter-
face in accordance with the
Windows versions 95/98/
NT4.0. With DIGSI 4 the
SIPROTEC 4 units can be
configured and interrogated -
it is a tailored program for the
electrical supply industries.
DIGSI 4 matrix
The DIGSI 4 matrix provides
the user with an overall view
of the unit configuration at a
glance. For example, all LEDs
and the configuration of the
binary inputs and output re-
lays are displayed in a single
chart. And with one click of
the mouse button connec-
tions can be made.
Convenient protection
functions setting:
Secondary or Primary
The settings can be entered
and displayed as secondary
or primary values. Switching
between secondary and pri-
mary is done by clicking on
the corresponding symbol in
the tool bar.
Commissioning
Special attention has been
paid to commissioning. All
binary inputs and output con-
tacts can be displayed and
activated directly. This can
simplify the wiring check
significantly for the user.
