There are nearly 350 million* people who have yet to receive
God’s Word in their own language. Your partnership in the
ministry of Bible translation offers life and hope to them.
with the help of churches and other groups of believers around the globe. In the midst of so many options and
invitation
opportunities, there is one thing that remains true: the global Bible translation effort requires the personal
commitment of faithful Christians in every walk of life. Some may become members of Wycliffe. Others
participate as short-term volunteers. Still others support the ministry with prayer and financial gifts.
Wycliffe members fill critical roles for the progress of translation. They rely on God to meet their needs
through gifts from Churches and individuals just like you. By partnering with Wycliffe and its missionaries
through giving, your investment in Bible translation has an impact for eternity. God is reaching His world
with His Word through the faithfulness of people like you!
Translation, literacy and Scripture-use programs bring the Word to life all over the world.
People are revitalized when they fully understand God’s message of love.
A Papua New Guinean magistrate said, “We need to use God’s Word in our own language.
Then God’s talk will bring peace within the family, peace between clans, peace in the nation.”
Many are still waiting for the hope that comes through God’s Word in their heart language.

nearly 350 million* people without Scripture in their languages

What a challenge! It’s a commission for the whole Church. Bible translation requires
all kinds of people. Some people need to go. Others need to send them. Will you help?
In partnership with God’s people worldwide, Wycliffe is committed to seeing Scripture translation in
progress for every language still needing one by the year 2025. Our desire is that all peoples will have
the opportunity to know Christ and have access to God’s Word in the language they understand best.
“This work was not successful because of my strength. Many people shared the load
and helped in their own way. God took that help and brought it to fruition like this.”
