ABOUT THE SHELTER
• Shelter is a non –governmental,
charitable and non- profitable
organization.
PROJECTS: SUPPORT

• We provide Psychological and


emotional support / Education /
Rehabilitation and Reinsertion and
Empowerment

• The shelter caters up to 40 women


and children at a time.

• We work in close collaboration


with the following departments:

• Ministry of Gender Equality, Child


Development and Family Welfare,
National Development Unit,
Domestic Violence unit, Police
Department and the Municipal
Council of Curepipe.

HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT IDENTIFYING
THIS PROBLEM?
