CHAPTER-5 SUMMARY OF FINDINGS,SUGGESTION,

CONCLUSION
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS

 The percentage table reveals 30% employees are moderately


satisfied, 13% highly satisfied, 20% low satisfied , 17% have very low
satisfaction level

 The response of employees regarding working hours conveys that


most of employees are ok with working hours.

 50% &40% of employees feel restroom and cafeteria respectively are


not satisfactory which is main issues to be addressed in study.

 From table 3 it is clearly evident that nearly about 50% employees are
happy with remuneration, incentives received.

 46% & 48% employees are moderately satisfied in terms quality of


work done and work environment. Hence there is room for
improvement

 From table 5 it is evident from responses that most of the employees


feel that management is neither strict not liberal.

 An overwhelming 40% of employees feel that inter-personnel


relationship between employees needs to be encouraged. On the other
hand majority of employees say that they are able to balance work and
family.

 From table 7 it is evident that the ideas and suggestions from


employees are not regarded or considered (65%). Nearly half (48%)
employees feel management exerts unnecessary pressure

 50% of employees feel their job is worthwhile and 73% feel


management should provide enhanced opportunities for their growth
 75% employees fall in medium- highly satisfied category while 25%
feel the organization has failed to satisfy their needs.

SUGGESTIONS

 The management must look into restroom and canteen facilities


and provide better facilities for employees because from the survey
it was evident that majority of the employees rated them as poor.

 The management must regard employees ideas and suggestions so


that employees feel they are part of organization

 The management should provide more challenging job


opportunities and provide them to climb up the hierarchical order
to keep them motivated.

 Inter personnel communication must be encouraged to ensure


harmonious relationship amongst employees which is slightly
lacking due to culture barriers

 Management should try not to exert unnecessary pressure


CONCLUSION

The study on employee’s satisfaction at Shoppersstop was cased out with


full co-operation of the employees and management. As far as possible
with in the given limits the study is completed with the satisfaction of
many people. The data collected was analyzed scientifically and the results
obtained are free to nearly 80%. It is assured that the company may got
high boosted moral in the organization provided some of the suggestions
made in the report is carried out
