Campground Information
The Valdez Glacier Campground takes pride in the beauty and serenity of this location. Guidelines have been established to ensure all
guests have a pleasant camping experience. For a complete list of campground guidelines please refer to the information boards, camp
host, and/or our Facebook page (search “Fmwr Fort Greely”). Below is a summary of the most commonly asked questions:
-Quiet hours are in effect from 2200-0600 (this includes generators, radios, idling vehicles and other loud activities)
-All pets must be on a leash (not to exceed 8 ft.) and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets
-Large Group Areas are available for day use between 0600-2200; Camping is permitted in Large Group Areas, with a minimum
of 5 tents/camping structures
-Limit shower facility usage to 15 minutes per person. The access code to the shower house will be changed every Wednesday,

Registration
Upon arrival immediately register with camp host or complete self registration, then proceed to campsite. Campsites are limited to 2
camping structures per site with a maximum of 2 vehicles. Campsites are available on a first come first serve basis. Check-in for all
campsites is no earlier than 1300. Check-out for all campsites is no later than 1100, campers will be charged another night’s stay if all Cancellation Policy
