HHS System – Steps to Installation
„ Step 1: Determine mounting location of
Hydrogen Generator Bank.
Mounting Hydrogen Genera
erator
Ambient Temperature has an adverse effect on Hydrogen Production.
For this reason, the generator should be mounted away from engine
heat.
Desired mounting location is in front of vehicle’s cooling
system.
The mounting location should also
be located at lower elevation than
all other system components.
Ensuring that hydrogen gas
produced will travel to highest
point.
After desired mounting location is
chosen, do not permanently mount
generator until supply line, fill
hose, and wiring are securely
attached.
HHS System – Steps to Installation
„ Step 1: Determine mounting location of
Hydrogen Generator Bank.
„ Step 2: Locate Power Supply & Install CPU
Find Power Supply – Install CPU Module
The CPU module should be mounted in engine compartment near
vehicle’s battery, away from moving components, and excessive
heat.
Next: Wiring instructions for the CPU
module.
CPU Module
„ CPU Module Power
Supply Cable Requires
3 connections to
vehicle’s electrical
system:
„ Battery (--) Ground
„ Black Wire
„ Battery (+) Power
Supply
„ Red or Orange Wire
„ Ignition Power Supply
„ Yellow Wire
„ Connect the power
supply (+) wire and
ground (--) wire to
the vehicle’s main
battery.
„ Insert the 10A fuse into
the power supply inline
fuse link.
„ If battery is not located
in engine compartment,
refer to vehicle’s manual
to locate main power
tap.
Locate Ignition
or (KEY-ON) circuit:
„ Use a meter or test light
to locate a vehicle
circuit that is powered
only when key is in ON
position.
„ Use a fused supply
tap for connecting
yellow ignition wire.
„ Route the power supply
cable around engine
components to the
chosen CPU mounting
location.
„ Connect the supply
cable to the CPU.
„ Securely mount the
CPU Module.

Hydrogen Generator Bank.
„ Step 2: Locate Power Supply & Install CPU

„ Step 3: Installation of Hydrogen Accumulator

Mounting Hydrogen Accumulator
Hydrogen Accumulator is the point in the HHS system where
the
Hydrogen and Oxygen gasses are separated from the aqueous
solution.
Mount
ounting HHS
Accumulat
Accumulator
The Accumulator must be:
„ Installed in an
upright position.
„ Secured to a solid
mounting
surface.
„ At higher elevation than
hydrogen generator
bank.
„ Installed where sight
glass
- water level can be seen.
HHS System – Steps to Installation
„ Step 1: Determine mounting location of
Hydrogen Generator Bank.
„ Step 2: Locate Power Supply & Install CPU

„ Step 3: Installation of Hydrogen Accumulator

„ Step 4: Final Installation: Generator Feed

Cable, Attaching Fill Hose, routing Hydrogen
supply lines from generator to engine air
intake.
Final Installation – Hoses, Lines, & Cables
Connecting the components. The system must have power supplied
to the generator, a fill point, and hydrogen supply lines running to
engine.
First: Wiring instructions for Generator Feed
Cable.
Generator Feed Cable
Wiring
„ Connect the feed cable to the
CPU module.
„ In this installation, the pair
of red wires will be used.
„ Connect the red wires to the
pair from generator.
„ The CPU oscillates
polarity, therefore it does
not matter which wires are
connected.
„ Additional wire may be
needed for route to generator
Creating Fill Hose
„ Attach the ½” Hose to
the Hydro
ydrogen
gen Gen
Generat
rator.
or.
„ Route the hose up where
fill point is readily
accessible.
„ To prevent over
filling, trim fill hose to
same level as
accumulator.
„ Secure Cap Fitting.
Final Installation – Hoses, Lines, & Cables
The Hydrogen supply lines should be installed with a gradual incline
up to the accumulator. Low points can create traps or air locks.

The Hydrogen supply line is a ¼” Polyurethane Tubing.

Routing Hydrogen Supply
Line
Route the line so that line will not be
crimped by closing hood. Avoid direct
contact with moving parts and hot objects.
Avoid making sharp bends to prevent
crimping.
Insert line into quick fittings on generator
and bottom of accumulator. Give the lines a
tug to make sure the connectors seal
correctly.
Generator can now be securely mounted.
Filling the System
„ Before attaching the upper accumulator line.
Fill the system with aqueous solution. This
will
speed up the filling process.
„ Always use distilled water to prevent damage
to the system.
„ Fill the accumulator site glass ½ full.
System requires room for expansion when
energized.
„ Securely tighten fill cap when finished.
Injecting Hydrogen
into Engine
„ Cut a length of supply
line that will run from top
of accumulator to engine
air intake.
„ Connect line to
accumulator. Attach
needle housing to other
end.
„ Insert needle as near
as possible to where
air enters engine’s
intake.
Installation is Complete
When Finished, a circuit can be viewed that begins at battery and ends
at the engine. Zip tie all lines and wires where needed for professional
look.
Next: Testing & Programming the
System
Testing the System
Once the installation has been
completed, turn the ignition key to the ON
position.
The HHS System is now in
operation.
The green light on the CPU module should be
flashing. Bubbles of Hydrogen gas will
become visible in the accumulator’s site
glass. A cup of water can be a useful tool in
checking the head pressure for a steady flow
of Hydrogen Gas.
Programming the
System

„ The HHS System can be programmed by 2

methods; by using the HHS handheld programmer
or by computer through serial cable data port.
„ CPU module is pre-configured to operate at
2,200mA
Installation-Setup Completed

The installation is completed. Simulated Tests and

Driving
Time will determine the HHS Performance System
setting that is right for maximum fuel efficiency,
cleaner emissions, and yielding greater horsepower
gains.
