HHS System – Steps to Installation
Step 1: Determine mounting location of
Hydrogen Generator Bank.
Mounting Hydrogen Genera
erator
Ambient Temperature has an adverse effect on Hydrogen Production.
For this reason, the generator should be mounted away from engine
heat.
Desired mounting location is in front of vehicle’s cooling
system.
The mounting location should also
be located at lower elevation than
all other system components.
Ensuring that hydrogen gas
produced will travel to highest
point.
After desired mounting location is
chosen, do not permanently mount
generator until supply line, fill
hose, and wiring are securely
attached.
HHS System – Steps to Installation
Step 1: Determine mounting location of
Hydrogen Generator Bank.
Step 2: Locate Power Supply & Install CPU
Find Power Supply – Install CPU Module
The CPU module should be mounted in engine compartment near
vehicle’s battery, away from moving components, and excessive
heat.
Next: Wiring instructions for the CPU
module.
CPU Module
CPU Module Power
Supply Cable Requires
3 connections to
vehicle’s electrical
system:
Battery (--) Ground
Black Wire
Battery (+) Power
Supply
Red or Orange Wire
Ignition Power Supply
Yellow Wire
Connect the power
supply (+) wire and
ground (--) wire to
the vehicle’s main
battery.
Insert the 10A fuse into
the power supply inline
fuse link.
If battery is not located
in engine compartment,
refer to vehicle’s manual
to locate main power
tap.
Locate Ignition
or (KEY-ON) circuit:
Use a meter or test light
to locate a vehicle
circuit that is powered
only when key is in ON
position.
Use a fused supply
tap for connecting
yellow ignition wire.
Route the power supply
cable around engine
components to the
chosen CPU mounting
location.
Connect the supply
cable to the CPU.
Securely mount the
CPU Module.
