Authorized dealers by the undersigned on behalf of the Inspector General Border

Security force Frontier Headquarter Gandhinagar Gujarat for supply of the
following item for this Headquarter.

Terms and conditions.

1. Two bid system sealed tenders are invited from the approved firms for
purchase of Hospital equipment under modernization plan as mentioned
above. The bids should be submitted by the tenderer in two parts as
under as per specification attached at appendix A.

2. The Technical bid and financial bid be sealed by the bidder in separate
covers duly superscribed and both of these sealed cover are to be put in a
bigger cover which should also be sealed and duly superscribed in capital
letters. TENDER FOR DENTAL CHAIR AND ITS ACCESSORIES
addressed to IG BSF, Frontier HQ BSF Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The
technical bids are to be opened by the board of Officers at the first
instance and evaluated by the competent authority. At the second stage,
financial bid of only the technically accepted offers will be opened for
further evaluation and ranking before awarding the contract.

3. Tenderer should submit the tenders along with the earnest money in
shape of CDR/BD/BC in favour of Inspector General BSF Gandhinagar
(Gujarat) payable at SBI GC CRPF Gandhinagar code No 6825.

4. Tenders bearing any erasing/over writing/mutilation will be rejected.

5. Tenders received with out signature of tenderer or received incomplete

are liable to be rejected.

6. The tenderer should submit their tender alongwith a copy of TIN

certificate and VAT to be charged should be clearly mentioned in tender.

7. Tender should reach this officer on or before 23 Aug 2008 up to 1000 hrs
in the Frontier HQrs BSF Gandhinagar Gujarat by registered post or
delivered in tender box. The tenders will be opened on the same day at
1130 hrs by a Board of Officers.
8. Tenders should be given by those dealer firms who are either registered
approved dealer contractors for above said purpose or those who are
dealing actually in the same items for which tender is being given.

9. The rates should be quoted in Indian currency inclusive of all taxes state
central sales taxes in force on the day of submission of tender. Taxes
levies chargeable must be indicated as applicable to Govt Department.

10. The tenderers are requested to submit their tenders duly filled in ink
neatly. legible and signed. The rate/unit quoted should be distinctly written
both in figures as well as in words. Corrections, if any should be done
clearly and initialed. Tender bearing any erasing/overwriting mutilation will
be rejected.

11. The manufacturer of the equipment should have at least one or two
service centers in the same zone for after sales service and maintenance.

12. The dispute, if any, shall be subject to jurisdiction of the Court of Law at
Gandhinagar Gujarat only and not else where.

13. The successful tenderers will have to execute an agreement on non

judicial stamp paper of Rs 10 required for contract deed in the prescribed
forms within 6 days from the date they are informed of the acceptance of
their tender and deposit performance security money @ Five percent of
contract value in case, they fail to do so, EMD Security money will be
forfeited. The performance security money deposited will be returned
when all the issues pertaining to the contract are fulfilled and finally
settled.

14. The successful tenderer should have to supply the demanded items within
02 weeks at Office complex of INSPECTOR GENERAL BSF
GANDHINAGAR GUJARAT on receipt of firm supply order.

15. The tenderer shall furnish a non-black listing certificate that the firm has
not been blacklisted in the past by any Government Private institution.

16. The Inspector General BSF Gandhinagar Gujarat reserves all the right to
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason and his decision
will be final.

17. Payments will be made in Indian Currency.

18. The warranty period should be minimum of 01 year. from the date of
supply.
