3. DVR (Facility to record two streams simultaneously with episode and series re

3.1 schedules
3.1.1 create schedule for recording
Steps
Go to horizontal guide browse to channel and select a prog and click the red but
ton one for episode twice red for series recording
3.1.2 Manual Schedule
Record new select manual tab to enter channel call sign, channel end time start
time and date and press the record button and go to schedule to check
3.1.3 Recorded TV
whatever program in the schedule tab after the end time are displayed which are
recorded and you can play back click on ok to play with trick play support

4. VOD
4.1 VOD Application -> Go to Vod application select the ribbon and buy which inc
lude discounted vod and normal purchase.
4.2 Normal VOD movie name is displayed in the ribbon
Steps
Select movie1 <name>
Press select and buy to purchase in normal mode it will play in full screen mode
Select movie2 <name>
Press select and buy to purchase in discounted mode it will play in full screen
mode
Disct.Vod for every 10mts ads are played for 1mt duration.There is a pre roll ad
s concept for VOD include preroll ads that are played initially and then main mo
vie starts and after 10mts there is
a break for 60sec some commercial ads and video ads are played.
Ad Expansion:
In dist.vod when main video is played when u press info 0-4 then ad expansion go
es there product details are displayed
4.3 VOD for you: Includes latest VOD, favorite VOD and suggested VOD

5. Social Media Network: Includes social media bar

Steps
1.on the welcome page navigate to the root menu->live tv-> for e.g. channel 1 in
the full screen mode
2. when menu is pressed on the remote once you get a group menu, if it is for th
e second time content media bar appear for the third time social media bar appea
rs
3.navigate to the twitter tab for couple of seconds number of followers and no.o
f tweets for that particular program is shown
3.you can follow this program by selecting the follow on button and click on ok
4. To send tweets select them and click on ok button to send tweets
5. When the subscriber presses the menu bar for the forth time channel with full
screen mode with "No.of tweets/No.of.mails/No.of. yahoo msgs appear"
6. In case you want to send emails that is done when your STB is configured to y
ahoo then the list of unread messages appear here, the same is the case for twee
ts, yahoo msgs also
7. please note the top menu bar displays all the notification messages for the s
ubscriber
8. Social media applications include yahoo/gmail/twitter/picasa/facebook
6. Advertizer
6.1 How to create ad campaigns, ad library, groups etc

Steps:
1. when email, yahoo msgs, tweets are a few social media popups that are sent a
pop up appears it is the place where your sponsered media ads appear.
7. Coupons definition
Steps:
1. Advertisers can create coupon on the portal and can target various subscriber

2. Coupons can be viewed on the consumers TV as a pop up when they can be shown
and stored
3. when you press the yellow button the remote the coupon is viewed in the full
screen mode
4. coupons for you is an application where all your saved coupons are displayed

Steps
1. Advertiser can create a questionnaire set and can target a group of subscribe

Steps:
1.Distinguished into categories like Content/Commerce/Social/Utilities
2. Content includes TV Guide/DVR/VOD/weather/sports/news etc
3. Social includes picasa/flikr/twitter/email
4. Commerce includes portal through which the local service providers can create
servicess and their related information is shown

10. Miscelleneous
11. Consumer Settings includes social media related applications credentails for
email, yahoo, twitter etc and their related steps. In addition to this the subs
criber can purchase
different available packages can be purchased which is immediately effected in t
he system.
This section will include install/Uninstall of different applications along with
profile creation and updation.
12.Digital Signage includes creation of presentations and display it as a channe
l in TV Guide showing it as a signage channel.
Also this section speaks about scheduling presentations from OD.
