2011-2012 Elite Auditions Announced

The 2011-2012 Stage Door
Elite Auditions will be held
on Saturday, June 11th ,
2011. The audition times
and age groups are posted
in the lobby. The audition
fee will be $10 for Petite
Elite and $20 for all other
Elite students. A detailed
information packet will be
available within the next
few weeks. It will include
events for next season,
estimated fees, expecta-
tions, and policies. All par-
ents and students should
review the requirements
before attending auditions.
The Elite are having a
great season this year, and
we’re already excited
about what next season will
bring!

Students Attend The Pulse in
Atlanta
Several of our students and
teachers attended The
Pulse Convention in At-
lanta, GA from March 25th-
27th, 2011. Students had
the opportunity to take

Meet Miss Mari!
Miss Mari is our newest
teacher at Stage Door
Dance Productions. She will
be teaching and subbing
throughout the remainder of
this season and will become
a regular staff member for
the Summer 2011 and 2011-
2012 seasons. She just
moved here from NYC, and
2011-2012 Recommendations
Class recommendations for
the 2011-2012 season are
currently being distrib-
uted. All recommendations
include a class schedule for
the upcoming season.
Please register early to
guarantee the class/time of
your choice. We have sev-
eral classes that reached
capacity this year, and we
want everyone to be in the
classes from notable chore-
ographers, such as Mia
Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Gil
Duldulado, Dave Scott, Cris
Judd, and Desmond
Richardson. Several of our
students also per-
formed the in The
Pulse’s Opening
Number at the Satur-
day evening Per-
formance Showcase..

our Southern hospitality!
Some of Mari’s credits in-
clude: dancing with the Fort
Wayne Ballet, studying in
the pre-professional divi-
sion at the Atlanta Ballet,
graduating from the Alvin
Ailey School’s Certificate
Program with honors, and
class/time of their choice.

Summer Intensive 2011
