Sadolin Paints (Oman) as their accredited manufacturer for the region. Sadolin will now
manufacture Powercrete range of corrosion prevention coatings 0 the revolutionary liquid coating
for water, oil and gas pipelines used by leaders in the respective industries across the world.

Political Factors:
There are certain employment,trade laws that Sadolin has to follow .Few of them are discussed
below:

An Employer must employ Omani employees to the greatest possible extent. A decision from me
Minister will specify the percentage of Omanis to expatriates in the different economic sectors or
activities of each sector according to the requirements of the circumstances and activity of each
sector or according to the availability of the required Omani employees.

Sadolin is not allowed to practice the business of supplying foreign employees unless itobtains a
licence for that purpose from the Ministry. OMIC is not allowed to enter into a contract with any
person for the purpose of providing foreign employees unless he obtains a licence for that
purpose.

Sadolin must put all employees on the same footing when the nature and conditions of their work
are alike.

Sadolin must each year send to the concerned directorate within the month of January, the forms
prepared by the Ministry

Ecnomic Environment :
Sadolin would exceed the 10-25% "ideal growth level" that executive body sees as healthy. Its
resources would be pushed to the limits in pursuing a national growth strategy. Sadolin would
need to make commitments in manufacturing equipment, personnel, capacity, management,
information and finance. It would also need to keep up with a distributor that could increase sales
by over 360% to R0 3.15 million.

OMIC is currently performing very well, with orders beyond their capacity. There are one hundred
and twenty days of delivery time, which shows that production is already stretched to the limit.
Management will need to hire more workers and managers to keep up with the growth. It is clear
that a substantial financial investment will be necessary to fund the growth into the national
market.

Due to rise of prices employers will demand for more salary which again is the threat to sadolin

strategy before was the location where the sadolin can bring its self into existence.Low budget
due to some strategy problems also was a threat to the discontunation of the product in
future.Finally company came up with a strategy that was in every way in the favor of a
comapny.This selected strategy is dicussed below.
