Power Donut2™ – with GSM/GRPS Cell Phone Communications
The Power Donut2 with GSM/GPRS Cell phone transmits secure
data to a specified server via the cell phone provider Application
Process Name “APN” service.
The Power Donut2 does not require a local Ground Station – the
communications server may be literally anywhere.

Power Donut2™ Data Functions

The Donut is capable of simultaneously monitoring

many parameters including:
•Current (Amps)
• Line to ground voltage (kV)
•Conductor Temperature – two ranges available –
• -50 C to 150 C “standard temperature”
• -50 C to 250 C “high temperature”
•Conductor angle of inclination (catenary parameters)
•Current and Voltage waveform capture - events
• and more etc…
It records data in its internal FLASH memory.
