The Tri County JV and varsity baseball teams traveled to Nashville, Tennessee during spring break. This allowed the team to practice on a
field, something they had not been able to do, due to the Michigan weather. The teams practiced at Trevecca Nazarene University, Cumberland
University, and Mt. Juliet High School. Other activities the team did included dinner downtown Nashville, hiding in the stairwell during a
tornado warning, watching the national championship game, mini-golfing and go-cart riding, and attending a Vanderbilt University game. On
the trip home Tri County took the field in southern Indiana. Wednesday night the varsity defeated Lanesville, IN and lost to New Albany, IN.
That same night the JV team dropped a game to Jeffersonville, IN. On the trip home the varsity also played in La Crosse, IN and lost. Thanks
to all those sponsors and supporters who make this trip possible. The experience is valuable and creates a memory our student-athletes will
never forget.

What is health?
Traditional medicine would say it is the absence of disease. But, health really is having a vital energy every day to do
the things that one wants to do with no limitations.
Our first level of health is what we were born with. This is called the constitution. This is a summation of the influences
of the pregnancy and the genetic tendencies. Even before birth, we begin to be touched by the world around us. Toxic
exposures, infections, physical trauma, emotional shocks all begin to exert their influence on our constitutional level of
health. Some of these influences may cause us to experience a lower lever of health. We may recover fully or we may only
recover partially.
As we go through the years, the constant impacts create changes in our level of health. A young woman I know was
told by her doctor during a pelvic exam that it looked like she had cancer of the cervix. This was a tremendous shock.
She said she felt it in her head and chest like a punch. This emotional shock can have a life long impact. It turned out the
Pap smear was normal, no cancer. Why did the doctor not wait until she had results? This is really unacceptable. A young
boy crashes his dirt bike and severely injures his shoulder. This event will have emotional and physical impact his whole
life.
If our recovery and self-healing potentials are greater than the insults to our body, mind and spirit then we will retain a
reasonably good level of health. If the insults (often self inflicted) are greater than our self healing ability we will begin to
experience acute and then chronic illness which may eventually become degenerative beyond the point of repair. These
conditions are then named as diseases.
As parents we can do our best to maintain a good fetal environment for our child. Then as the child grows from infancy
to adult hood, we do our best to reduce toxins, provide good water, food, etc. Accidents do happen. We cannot live
in a bubble. But we can attempt to reduce the physical and emotional shocks. We encourage our
growing children to avoid the tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, sweets, things that are known to be
detrimental.
We can do periodic cleanses (liver, colon, gallbladder, heavy metal) to remove the accumulated
toxins.
Use prayer and meditation to remove the emotional shocks that may be affecting our mind and
spirit.
Homeopathic medicine can remove the bad effects of physical and emotional trauma. I gave the
young lady some high dose homeopathic Gelsemium and the young lad some Arnica. This will do
something to reduce the shock of these events.
Use food and nutrition, herbs and supplements, cleanses and other natural methods to build
231-414-8104
your self-healing and recovery mechanisms.
This is how to remain healthy your whole life.
