demonstrations of God’s power. We need to pursue the power of

God until we see it restored in it’s fullness as Jesus intended and

preached.

Averse that has stirred in my heart for a number of years is 1 Corinthians 4:20 “For

the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” The Power of God is

essential to truly live the Christian walk – human effort will never be enough.

I trust this issue will deeply challenge you to desire and experience more of the

supernatural. May your life and ministry be marked by the awesome power of God.

ACTIVITIES IN PROVINCES AND CITIES

Sewing Project in Siem Reap Province

Siem Reap is a province located in northwestern Cambodia, on

the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake. The provincial capital is Siem
Reap town.

Recently by having supported from our partner organizations to

help the poor people in Siem Reap through Pastor Prak Vuthy
representative of CCPC in Siem Reap, now we had formed one
project name “Sewing Project”.

The sewing project’s purpose is want to help to the poor people

families to have some income to provide in their family daily
and to help them in training them to have some skills if they
have plan to do a small business in the future.

We hope that by this project our God Jesus Christ will bless
many people here.

Recently The Bethel Church in
Siem Reap that is a member of
CCPC had to do the Baptism
program for the church
members. This is what our
Lord Jesus Christ told us that
“18I have been given complete
authority in heaven and on
earth. 19Therefore, go and
make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and the Son
and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach
these new disciples to obey all
the commands I have given
you. And be sure of this: I am
with you always, even to the
end of the age.” (Matthew
28:18-20)
The question is: Why should
someone be baptized?
The Bible gives a number of
reasons to be baptized:
Acts 2:38 - Tying repentance
and baptism together provides
forgiveness of your sins and
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 6:1-7 - This shows us
that the mode of baptism
(immersion) pictures the death,

The Cambodian Inter-Religious

Tsunami in Japan.

Recently CCPC had allowed Miss
Nadege from France to visiting and
learning with our brothers and sister
in provinces and city “Phnom Penh,
Kampong Chhnang, Svay Rieng and
Rotanakiri”. In these provinces and
city we noticed that Ratanakiri is a
province in northeastern Cambodia
that borders Laos to the north,
Vietnam to the east, Mondulkiri
Province to the south, and Stung
Treng Province to the west. The
province extends from the
mountains of the Annamite Range in
the north, across a hilly plateau
between the Tonle San and Tonle
Srepok rivers, to tropical deciduous
forests in the south. In recent years,
logging and mining have scarred
Ratanakiri's environment, long
known for its beauty.
For over a millennium, Ratanakiri
has been occupied by the highland
Khmer Loeu people, who are a
minority elsewhere in Cambodia.
During the region's early his story,
its Khmer Loeu inhabitants were
exploited as slaves by neighboring
empires. The slave trade economy
ended during the French colonial
era, but a harsh Khmerization
campaign after Cambodia's
independence again threatened
Khmer Loeu ways of life. The
Khmer Rouge built its headquarters
in the province in the 1960s, and
bombing during the Vietnam War
devastated the region. Today, rapid
development in the province is
altering traditional ways of life.
Ratanakiri is sparsely populated; its
150,000 residents make up just over
1% of the country's total population.
Residents generally live in villages
of 20 to 60 families and engage in
subsistence shifting agriculture.
Ratanakiri is among the least
developed provinces of Cambodia.
Its infrastructure is poor, and the
local government is weak. Health
indicators in Ratanakiri are
extremely poor, and almost one in
four children die before reaching the
age of five. Education levels are also
low; three quarters of the population
is illiterate.
